For Students: Start a Club
Students can get involved with The School Fund by starting a Chapter of TSF at your high school or middle school. Starting a Chapter is simple. Each student group must fund and communicate with at least one TSF student over the course of the year.

The School Fund Challenge

On Saturday, April 28, high schools students across the country will join forces with The School Fund to raise awareness about educational inequality and fund student scholarships. The School Fund Challenge is a unique opportunity for students to have fun, educate communities, and begin to make a tangible difference in the world at large.

On the day of the Challenge, teams of students, armed with a task list and box of supplies, will gather to write facts about education in chalk around their town, put up posters, and complete other activities that start to build awareness about the need for educational equity in their community. For every activity that a team completes, they will earn points that translate into dollars usable to fund a student at www.theschoolfund.org. This means that teams fund students' education without ever having to ask for a single dollar or sell a single cookie-- all they have to do is share what they know. Not interested in starting a permanent Chapter?
You can still get involved with The School Fund and make a huge impact on students' lives! You can incorporate TSF into an existing service club, fundraise or raise awareness around TSF to earn community service hours, participate in one of our limited time Challenges, or enter a team into the national Case Competition in the spring.
