She is a very passionate young girl, who is always reading about science in order to excel in school and fulfill her dream of becoming a nurse. Lilian Wafula loves to play netball with her friends, and to be outdoors exploring nature.

Hi Lillian,

Hi Lilian, my daughter Frieda and I are inspired by your story, we love your commitment to school. We have a good friend from the Maasai tribe near Narok who has helped us learn about the need for girls to be educated in Kenya. We live in San Jose, California (not very far from the ocean) and hope to visit Kenya one day soon. Frieda is 10 years old and has a brother who is 13. last week i enjoyed playing netball for our school team at the zonal level. the week was all about practice. i also enjoyed meeting, playing and also i was happy that our team won! As we prepare to end the term, am going back to class to work on my class work!
