About

Analida is an outstanding student who dreams of becoming a teacher one day. She lives with her mother in Quebrada Guabo, the same community that the original founders of Few for Change visited while studying in Panama. Analida has fantastic grades and writes clearly and her determination and spirit shined through clearly throughout her application to Few for Change. Her teacher describes her as "respectful…responsible and intelligent…and not afraid to answer or ask questions in class." She is motivated by the absence of her father, who lives and works away from his family. "I don't live with my father," Analida wrote in her essay, "but that is not a barrier for me."

Hola Analinda!

Dana
1. My favorite class last year was history, learning about the economic ruin from the American Colonies and others, too.

2. Last year, I found Math to be the most difficult subject. Though neglecting it isn’t the best when studying, it’s good to have math.

3. I learned that it is good to study to be a professional in the future. Because of this, to meet my goals, I behave well with the teachers and classmates in my school.

4. Thank you for the support with our studies. You are people that are very friendly with the students in the comarca – a thousand thanks.

5. I want you to know that I like to study and I get along well with my teachers and classmates.

6. This support is important to me because it helps me with my studies, with my transportation, and my important supplies.

My plans for the next summer: I think that I will work on mastering the material that will be helpful for the coming year.
