Nasiru writes: My father and mother are both peasant farmers who cultivate cassava and maize in domestic quantities to help feed and pay for some stuff for the family. Because the farming alone is not enough to support the family, my mother cooks and sells a local food called Wakye to help take care of things in the family. However the farming and selling of Wakye have not been a reliable source of funding the education of my siblings and I. My big brother had to drop out of school for a year because my parents could not pay his school fees. When they finally struggled to get the fees for him to go back to school, he was repeated whiles his mates were promoted to the next grade. The possibility of me dropping out of school is very high because of my family's financial status. I don't want to drop out of school, so please help me to go to school to the university level to be able to become the teacher and footballer that I want to become, so I can help other poor people like me."Where your donation goes
