About

David is the second born in a family of three children. They live along Karanja road where the backroom of their shop serves as the family house. His father lives upcountry with his second wife. The responsibility of seeing David and his younger sister through school and providing for the entire family squarely lies on his mother's shoulders. This is proving to be difficult since she gets an average of Ksh 500 (USD 6.25) daily from the shop and pays a monthly rent of Ksh 7,900 (USD 98.75), and Ksh 150 (USD 1.87) for food daily. She had to take a loan from a local women's group to get David into his first year of Secondary School.

Hey David, what's happened to you?
Hello,
Today I am going back to school for my second year in high school. Thanks to everyone who had the confidence in me and have seen the potential I possess, therefore making the decision of giving me this wonderful opportunity to be in school.
It is my promise that I will not betray your trust and I will perform to your expectations and beyond and make the world a better place. It is going to be a tough term as it is also coinciding with the electioneering period, but it is my prayer that everything goes on smoothly.
Once again thanks for your support.
