About

Magdaline comes from a humble family of four living in Maai-Mahiu. She has been brought up by her mother since 2006 after the death of her father when she was 9 years old. Magdaline's mother was unable to pay for her primary education but fortunately government intervention was able to see that Magdaline could graduate from primary school. She is so grateful to join her 1st year in high school and promises to work very hard to fulfill her dream with your support!

I was browsing through the pictures in The School Fund and ran across your story. I am able to make contributions because in addition to my regular job, I am a musician and make money playing weddings from time to time. So when I play a wedding, I am able to contribute to something like your education. It makes playing the wedding more fun for me. I play the viola (which is like a violin but bigger) in a string quartet.
I hope that this will help you with your schooling.
Hi Jaclyn,
My name is Magdaline, and am a student in Maai-Mahiu Girls' Secondary School. It's a great pleasure to be in school.I am a third year student.I've been able to emerge among the best students in all my classes. My best subjects last term were Chemistry,Biology,Mathematics and Business Studies. My holiday was not long due to the assignments.I also cherish my family very much.I like singing and travelling.
TIP
Live by upright standards and others who are striving to do the same will be more likely to find you. They will make the best kind of a friend.
I look forward to join you at Brown University!
