Linet stays with her cousin at Soweto village-Kibera Slums. Both of her parents relocated upcountry with her two other sisters due to the high cost of living. Their business of selling fish could no longer raise enough money to keep them in the city. Her cousin who does menial jobs in now responsible for raising her school fees albeit with a lot of difficulties. What keeps Linet in school is her good performance but this will not be for long.
