About

Eunice was orphaned at the age of four. She lived in an orphanage in a slum of Nairobi until she was brought to the Flying Kites Leadership Academy in 2010. Eunice has a laugh that can instantly cast a bright light over an entire room. She is a precocious young girl who is both humble and full of fire. Eunice has a flair for making funny faces, playing cards, and like her older brother Francis, a gift for dancing. Despite the hardships in her life to date, Eunice remains resiliently open to great joy and she can connect with other children and adults in an incredible way.

A Letter to The School Fund

Hi, I hope you are doing well. The reason why I am writing to you this letter is to inform you that I have been doing well in this term and I am improving in my studies. I am thanking you for caring for me and helping pay for my school fees.

The next term I am going to improve more and more. My favorite subjects now are science and mathematics. We always ask our teachers some questions and they help us and we are grateful.

Love,
Eunny
