I have the honor of addressing this letter to you just to thank you for the fact that you have accepted to join us in solving our school-related problems so I can continue my classic studies. Today it is with joy and a happy heart that I write this letter, for me to thank you for my school. You are paying for this year, and I tell you what that does for happiness. I am happy again for this year of school you had a chance to pay for me, it must be in my heart, so that you would see the happiness that I have. I am praying to God that he protects your life, I am praying to God day and night that he puts hands together so that he can still take away my heavy burdens and problems.

How are you? Today it is with pleasure that I write to you about my family. I am Jean Louis Lesly, I live in Leogane, in the town of Destra. I am a 19 year old boy, and I was born into a family with 5 children,4 boys and 1 girl. We live together in our little house. We are a poor family and we don't have economic means. My mother is a street vendor and my father is a fisherman, ad they do what they can with us, but I am the only one who has the opportunity to go to school. I love school a lot, because it is school that will make me a strong citizen of this country. Without school, countries cannot advance. When I finish school, I would like to study law, that is my dream.
