Akos lives with her mother and seven siblings in a small shack in Kissemah Village. She loves taking care of babies and whenever she is not in school she has her baby sister Princella in her hands or on her back. Akos often has to leave school early to go and sell for her mother so that her family will have enough money to eat.

hi, my name is Sophie and i live in the united states, and next week i'm holding a fundraiser at my school to pay for your school funds! :) I'm exactly the same age as you and I'm excited to help you.i just want to say never give up. i know how stressful school can be at home, and even when i don't have to worry about paying my school fees. to have the odds against you would be even tougher, and i want to take the weight off your shoulders so you can have a happy adulthood. :D
