About

I was born in the year 1989 and afterwards my 5 sisters. I am the oldest of all my siblings. My parents are people very humble and without adequate preparation to confront problems like poverty. They fought very hard to raise us and they taught us how to work in agriculture. I've worked since I was a very young child and also went to school but because I came from such a poor family I couldn't finish primary as a child, so I had to wait until I was an adult to attend a program for teens and adults to finish my primary schooling. It has not been easy to achieve what I've dreamed of, but I'm now aware that with great determination and honor you can achieve big things.

Hey Rigoberto,

How are you doing? It's exciting that we are able to hear from you! I just wanted to introduce myself, my name is Tim Eisen and I work for The School Fund. I see on your profile that you are interested in economics. I studied economics a little bit in school a while ago, it was very interesting to me. I really enjoy math and it's a beautiful application of mathematics that has powerful impact.

I'm glad that you like your new teacher! I'm headed back to school next year after having been working, so I'm excited to learn many things again as well.

Dear Friends,
I respectfully and graciously send my greetings to those involved in the development of this important education project. May God offer you rich and abundant blessings. Thank you Gene and Nathalie for your kind messages.

By way of the following, I present to you my most sincere gratefulness for your
support in my studies. Friends, 2012 was a year where I learned so much that
made me feel proud of myself and also of all of you who have reached out
your hand to me. Also, I would like to share with you that the new teacher has
been very responsible and dynamic in her work such that it has made me feel
optimistic about confronting the new challenges in 2013, ones that I will confront
with much enthusiasm and always wishing that this new year will hold many
opportunities each day for me to be a better student. Studying is so important because it is only this way that we can see the world through new eyes. Dear Nathalie, I would like to be economist. You are welcome in Pajarillos anytime, we would gladly and warmly welcome you.
