I like to play football, read story books and watch television. My brother told me that if I want to be a doctor, I have to study hard in science subjects such as physics, chemistry and biology. I was happy when I finished primary school because I was going to start secondary school. In secondary school, I found lot of changes. In primary, I studied 8 subjects. All subjects were in Kishwahili except for English which was taught in English. In secondary school we study all subjects in English except Kiswahili. I really work hard to overcome this challenge. I want to be a doctor. People die because there are so few specialized doctors in our country. Support for school fees from The School Fund will help my dream come true because it is hard for my parents to provide basic needs for all our family.

I would like to become a pilot. I will be very happy when my dream comes true. I have to study hard so as I can become a good pilot and to become a good pilot I have to get school where students are taught well, like Iringa Girls. Also I wish one day to get a chance to study outside the country because in Tanzania we lack a Pilot University. A moment when I felt proud of myself is when I finished my primary education and got good results of my national examination of standard 7. The most difficult experience in my life was when my mom got sick. My father was not there because they were separated. We were still young and no one can help us with the cooking as we could eat and go to school. My happiest moment will be when I am able to help orphans get education and basic needs. Four years from now I want to do well in my studies so that later on I can complete my dream.

My father died 2015. Through his death I learnt many things in life. My life is totally changed because my mother is unable to provide our basic needs. My dream is to be a doctor so that I can save people's life. I see many people suffering while no rich people willing to give a helping hand. If I fulfill my dream and get money I will not behave like those rich people who don't care the needy. The moment I felt so proud of my self is the day I passed my Grade 7 National Examination. I thank The School Fund for Choosing me in the Scholarship program. I promise to study very hard and achieve my dream.

My father is a farmer and my mother is a housekeeper. My ambition is to become a doctor. The happiest part of my life is that my parents know that a child must get an education. My difficult experience was when I was in primary school and my father and mother didn’t have money for paying school fees and bus fare. Thank you The School Fund for assisting me and my parents. You have reduced the hardness of my family life. I promise I will struggle for success in order to become a doctor.

Class Rank: 4/29 The most difficulty experience is when my father died. Losing my father was hard enough, my relatives also abused my right by taking me out of my old school. I learn from the Bible to be kind to my relatives, so I forgive them. Now I live in an orphanage. My happiest moment is when I pass my grade seven national exams. I felt proud when my guardians tell me that they are proud of me because they know my tough background life. My dream is to be a pilot. I will work hard on Geography and Mathematics subjects. I plan to give back to the community after fulfilling my dreams by build schools and help poor/disabled people. I will give back to the School Fund by contributing 10% of my salary and work together with the School Fund.
