The most difficult experience in my life is as follows. One day I failed one of my exams. I cried so much. Later I learnt that crying could not solve anything, but studying hard could. The moment when I felt especially proud of myself was the time when I was first in the form 1 class of 65 students. The happiest moment in my life is when I got the School Fund sponsorship. Four years from now, I wish to have completed my O-level studies (form 4) with a very good division 1 grade.

I live with my parents. My life started to be hard after my father and mother separated. He does not give us support for basic needs, such as clothes and school fees. As a result, my mother must engage in small business such as selling soup and cassava at the market so as to care for our family. She earns very little money. Since we are a family of eight members, it is difficult for my mother to pay my school fees and buy my uniform. I used to get assistance from my uncle, he helped me to buy uniform and a few basic need. But after death of my uncle, there has been no assistance up to the moment. My plan is to finish high school with high marks, then I would like to join the university of my choice and pursue a degree of doctor. Since education has no end, I would like to earn my masters and PhD and be a great professional in Tanzania. Doing this, I can help my family and society at large.

The most difficult part of my life was when my father left us when I was still young. My mother had no money and no job. This family condition stressed me a lot in my studies. What I learned from that is to work hard at school so that I will be able to help my mother and my siblings. I want to be an electrical engineer. I have to study hard and take PCM, which means physics, chemistry, and mathematics. I felt proud when I was accepted at a secondary school for girls and then received a scholarship from TSF. It helped me very much. I was happy when my form 4 national examination results were very good. Two years from now I want to have finished my advanced level education and passed with flying colors.

Bonifas attends Madibira A-level School. The most difficult time in my life was when it came time to learn the English language. I was from a local school where we prepare Swahili language in all subjects except English. I know it sounds crazy but I overcame it through watching overseas movies where I learned by getting the spirit of the characters’ conversation and seeing what the whole movie was about. Well, I will repay The School Fund by giving TSF students advice on how they can benefit from my experience. Because of The School Fund, while I was doing my O-Level studies I never had to get into any quarrels about payment of my school fees or expenses for food. After I get my own job and am good financially, it will be my honor to pay school fees for some of the current TSF students. I have a plan to become a human doctor or a pharmacist. The only way to reach this is through education which I consider the key to life.

Class Rank: 7/88 Many years ago, my mother was sick and that was the most difficult experience to me. My father didn't have money to take her to see a doctor. But my mother got better miraculously in the Glory of our Lord. From that day I learn to praise and worship my Lord. My dream is to become a doctor so I can treat sick people and my family members. I was especially proud of myself when I am able to comprehend the subjects and pass my exams with good grade. If I fulfill my dream, I will help those poor families as well as women's needs as the way the School Fund helps me. I will continue pray for the School Fund to grow and be able to help more children. The School Fund makes me believe my dream will come true.

I am 13 years old and I am in form 1. The most difficult experience I have had was when my father got an accident that hurt him very badly. W hat I learnt from this that life has different plans from what you plan. The moment when I especially felt proud of myself was when I was second out of 195 students at school. I hope one day I will be the first.
