My name is Eliza. I am living with my parents. My dream is to be a doctor. My life changed in 2010 when our father's business failed. To reach my dream to be a doctor, I will work hard and focus only on studying and I will pass my form 6 examination with division I. The hardest thing I have experienced at school is when I hear other students talk about poor people in a negative way. When I hear that, I think it is discrimination. It is not our fault that we were born poor. The thing I like mostly to do is pray to God. I do believe He is in charge of the universe and tries to help people to do the right things. My happiest moment is when I am at school and studying hard because then I know I am working toward fulfilling my dream to become a doctor. I thank The School Fund for supporting my education. Without their help I would never be where I am today.

I live with both mother and father. My father has no job and my mother sells local vegetables but it is not enough to satisfy our family's basic needs. My father is not concerned with our needs. The situation is affecting my education and our family life. I have poor uniforms, lack books, and so on. If I can pay for the school requirements, I am sure I will reach my goal of being a teacher. The happiest moment in my life was when I was selected for O-level.

School Year 2018
Class Rank: 3/29 The moment that I felt proud of myself is when I passed my primary school education with higher marks. I always dream of becoming an engineer. I will get there by studying hard, mostly in Physics and Chemistry. Even though I live in an orphanage, I am happy most of the time. I feel especially happy when I pass my exams. When I fulfill my dream, I will give back to the community by constructing a good road and houses. The School Fund gives me the opportunity to continue my education and fulfill my dreams in the near future. After I become an engineer, I will encourage all my fellow friends to contribute more money to the School Fund to continue supporting many needy children.

My dream is to become a doctor so as to help others. Nowadays we see many people dying and most of them are victims because they don’t have help. I want to become a doctor to help people, especially my fellow Tanzanians. The dream of my life started when I was young. I used to watch television and see how doctors perform their work, for example, in surgery. I got an inspiration. I am going to accomplish my dream like this: I have already finish primary education and now I am in secondary education. I will choose subjects which are involved in my occupation, like biology, chemistry, and physics (PCB). I will work hard in this education level because it’s the most important one. I will go up to University and be a person I want to be.

In our family I’m only one who was born safely. My brothers and sisters died before they were born. When I was one and a half years old, my mother left me. I was raised by my father. He always tells me to study hard so I can reach my dream of being a doctor. My happiest moments were when I passed class 4 and class 7 national exams. The biggest challenge that I have is when I am sent home because of a lack of school fees. My father takes a loan from the bank and pays them back when he can. In the morning, I do not eat breakfast. I eat only in the evening. In the morning I go to school in a bus while in the afternoon I walk home. In four years, I would like to pass my exams. I will study hard. When I grow up I would like to be a doctor so that I can help adult people and disabled people. I hope I can do it.
