About

Joseph is the second born child in a family of five. His elder brother dropped out of school due to lack of school fees. Since the passing on of his father, Joseph and his siblings have been staying with their mother who has taken over the responsibility of providing for her children. Though determined to make sure that her sons get the best, her health condition has affected her and can rarely manage to do manual work. After the death of their father, the extended family drove them out of their ancestral land. The family is currently living in a rented house in Wamunyu. Joseph is determined to change their family in future. He believes that hard work pays and in future he dreams of becoming a doctor, first to treat his mother and then other people in the society.Ê

Hello Sharon? It is my sincere hope that your doing well.I am healthy and doing well.
During the holiday I have gained a lot from the group discussions we were holding at Kenya Connect with my fellow form four students.I
have known new things from them and I am now advanced in terms of syllabus because fellow students who were ahead in syllabus, they taught us.Those who were good in some subjects;we helped each other.Sincerely speaking,it was constructive on my side.

It is opening time now and I am going for my final academic year.Sharon, during your time in school, how were you feeling when the time to report back has finally arrived?I am going to make `YOU` proud and smile;that is my purpose and my goal this time round.

See you until next time,bye.
Hi Sharon? It`s my sincere hope that your fine.
I am doing well;in both academics and sports.Recently I was given an award for being among the students who represented the school well in Maths Contest which we emerged position one.
I have met with people with `crazy` minds. They do not want any changes in their lives.Different mentors have came in the school to advice us,but there is no change at all because everyday, indiscipline cases are being witnessed for instance;the form two`s destroyed the CCTV cameras which were in there classes and even tried to strike.Have you witnessed such incidents in your younger age and how did you handle them?
We have closed the school for seven weeks.I have planned to attend all classes at Kenya Connect and also try to `push` the syllabus with the help of my friends.
Until next time Sharon,bye.

Most of the rural roads in his village are very impassable and this has pushed him towards achieving his dream of becoming an engineer. Since Matata was a young boy, he has always liked playing football not only at home but also in school and he was the goalkeeper for his school team.
