Joining the school’s music club has been a life-changing experience for me. I performed in front of an audience for the first time this year, and it was an incredible moment. Thank you for making it possible for me to explore my talents!
As I approach my senior year at Highway Academy, I think about how important your support has been to my academic success. The journey through high school was difficult, but with your help I was able to overcome many obstacles. Now I am focusing on my final exams and preparing for university, dreaming of a successful career in the future. Thank you for your kindness and for your confidence in my abilities.

Matata is a daring young boy who believes that success is often achieved by those who don’t know that failure is inevitable. He is the last born in a family of four. His parents are unemployed and largely depend on subsistence farming, which has been negatively affected by frequent severe droughts. Most of the rural roads in his village are very impassable and this has pushed him towards achieving his dream of becoming an engineer. Since Matata was a young boy, he has always liked playing football not only at home but also in school and he was the goalkeeper for his school team.
