The School Fund TZ

My father's education ended in secondary school. My mother's ended in primary school. If my father had gone to university, our life would not be this difficult. This taught me that as a future father I need to study hard so that my family can live a happy life. I want to be a doctor. My father told me to study hard because life is hard, too. With help from The School Fund, I can see my dream coming true

Emanueli is number 3 in his class. His family lives in a poor economic standard. Emanueli wants to be an environmental conservator one day. To him "education is the way to get rid of poverty."

My class rank is 6 out of 42 students. I am fourth born in my family of five children. My father is a driver and my mother is a nurse. They both receive a meager wage to pay for my siblings' school fees and mine too. My dream is to become a doctor in future life, a dream which to be realised depends among other factors on payment of school fees and favourable learning environments. I believe after attaining my career, I will be in a position to afford life and help others who will be in need.

My name is Mwaka Nassoro. I am second born in the family of five children. I live in the Mbeya region with my mother who is a small scale peasant. She is not capable of paying my school fees and always finds it difficult to pay the school contribution. I believe that studying hard will help me to achieve my goal of being an engineer and through this goal I will be able to assist my family and the community.

I live with my both parents in Karatu ward in Karatu district. My family depends on day workers’ wage to provide for our needs. Sometimes wages are hard to get because my father is not always employed. I face problems with school requirement like uniforms and books. I make effort in my school classes to perform. My dream is to become a pilot because there are few pilots in our country. My country’s great focus is on industry and industries need skilled people like me. Being selected for secondary school was the happiest moment for me. I know there are so many who were not selected. It was a privilege to me. Four years from now, I will be in form 6.

Class Rank: 8/50 I want to become an engineer and have a job that I love. I will fight hard in order to achieve my goal and become a honored person in the society.The most difficult experience I had in my life was when my uncle passed away. He was the one I depended on, I felt I became helpless. At that time, I realized that I must be strong and study very hard, I must depend on myself. I feel proud of myself because I always concentrate in my studies and I pray to my God daily. My Mother is proud of my academic achievement.
