The most difficult moment I had in life was the accident caused by motorcycle. This happened when I was on the way from home to school; I hurt my right leg during that accident. My father took me to the hospital and I was at home for three weeks and could not attend school. Another difficulty is school expenses. Sometimes my parents can’t fulfill my needs. It is hard time to get school bags, books, food, and other things. This weakened my academic performance in school. I was very impressed when I passed standard seven and was selected to join form 1 at Wel Wel Secondary School. I am proud of it because I was chosen among many. Four years from now I will be in A-levels somewhere in our country.

HELLO WEF;
Hopping that you are doing well, to my side am also doing good. I would first want to thank our almighty god for such a moment that we have been together again.
I am still continuing well with my studies and generally academic progressiveness and now preparing for opening school exams in January. And also, for my final exams in May.
I had once a dream to be telecommunication engineer back the same to many of my classmates who have the same dream and our common goal is that we be able to invent more about internet and communication in general.
To my side what is see is the most challenging problem to the world is all about employment thus bringing about poverty in many families. To solve the problem is by through utilization of my own knowledge and surroundings and not be more a slave of poverty.

Hi Students!

I just read all the journal entries I have received since October. Such wonderful letters! I am so impressed by how mature and articulate you have become. I’m realizing that I have now been reading some of your journals for 5 years. When I look at your photos, I don’t recognize the child I first knew. You are teenagers now.
I especially love the stories that some of you told in your journals. Moral tales, I call them.

So congratulations for working so hard. I’m hoping you will achieve your goals, go to a university if you want, and become productive members of your community, and able to help others as you have been helped.

I am enjoying retirement. My age of 76 is bringing on a bit of health problems, like arthritis, but I keep active physically and don’t let it stop me from doing what I love to do.

I read a lot. I travel. I go to jazz concerts in San Francisco. I would love to return to Kenya and Tanzania for a visit. I’d love to visit your school. Maybe it will happen. Who knows?

So keep up the great efforts. I know it can’t be easy, but this is such a wonderful opportunity.
