Most of the rural roads in his village are very impassable and this has pushed him towards achieving his dream of becoming an engineer. Since Matata was a young boy, he has always liked playing football not only at home but also in school and he was the goalkeeper for his school team.

Felix is a third born in a family of six children. His parents abandoned the family leaving the burden of bringing up the family to their aged grandmother who is ailing and can't work. Felix could sometimes miss school and perform casual work to cater for food. Food has always been inadequate in their family. They get help from well-wishers. Due to lack of source of light at night, Felix used to study at night at neighbors' homestead. He accredits his success to being obedient, God fearing and consulting the teachers. He is very determined to become a teacher to teach students and help the community. He enjoys playing football. He believes that he will never die until he dies.

The mother lost her business last year due to Covid-19 and now does casual jobs to support two of her daughters in secondary school. At home Elijah could not study well due to lack of reliable source of light. He used to wake up very early to make it to school in order to utilize the electricity at the school. Managing time well and consulting teachers made him excel in his studies. He aspires to be an aeronautical engineer and making new discoveries. His academic path so far has taught him that every successful person has a painful story. Elijah likes swimming.

Gabriel is a determined young boy who believes that success does not come on a silver platter. He is the third born with three sisters and one brother. His parents are unemployed and only depend on casual jobs to cater for the needs of their family. Regardless of him sleeping without food, he toiled so hard to pass his examinations.
