Christine is the firstborn in a family of two. Her mother is a single parent and the sole breadwinner of the family. Christine completed her primary education in 2020 and was unable to join secondary school due to lack of school fees. She decided to repeat grade eight with great hopes of doing much better. And joining high school. Despite the challenges, she emerged the best student in her school. She aspires to be a neurosurgeon so she could save the lives of many. Christine believes that winners never quit and quitters never win. She loves reading and telling stories
Purity comes from a family of six siblings; 3 brothers and 2 sisters. She is the fifth born child in her family. She lives with her parents who do casual jobs to cater for the family needs. Her elder siblings dropped out of school due to lack of school fees. Despite the challenges that she faced, her dream of becoming a doctor to treat her ailing mother, who always complains of severe headaches and pneumonia, has not shattered. Purity hopes that one day she will get her family from the shackles of poverty that they are in and she believes that where there is a will there's a way.

Ian Goods lives with his siblings and unemployed parents. He elnjoys science and math and would like to become a researcher.
Syongwa is the first-born child in a family of four. She lives with her grandmother together with her siblings. Syongwa has been working hard in school. She has remained focused in achieving her dreams. Despite the challenges she faced in her primary education she managed to score exemplary marks. Her grandmother has remained to be her encouragement to do the best in school. Due to poverty her mother neglected the children and left them with their grandmother. Agnes is an outgoing girl who completed her primary education and passed very well. She is the first born child with two young brothers and one sister. Her mother is a single mom. She is self-employed as a tailor and her earnings are not sufficient to pay her daughter’s secondary school fees. The family lives in a rented single room. Agnes believes that hard work pays and desires to work hard to uplift her family from poverty and also help the aged as well children who come from poor backgrounds. She aspires to be a doctor to treat sick people from all over the world. Her hobby is reading story books.

Doing thorough revision and consulting with her teachers earned her a trump card. She likes reading storybooks and believes that hard work pays and never goes unrewarded. Precious comes from a poor family with both parents doing manual labour. They are unable to pay her high school fees as well provide food for her and her younger sister.
Felix is a third born in a family of six children. His parents abandoned the family leaving the burden of bringing up the family to their aged grandmother who is ailing and can't work. Felix could sometimes miss school and perform casual work to cater for food. Food has always been inadequate in their family. They get help from well-wishers. Due to lack of source of light at night, Felix used to study at night at neighbors' homestead. He accredits his success to being obedient, God fearing and consulting the teachers. He is very determined to become a teacher to teach students and help the community. He enjoys playing football. He believes that he will never die until he dies.
