He could get to school very early to utilize the electricity to study. He also accredits his success to being a well-disciplined, God fearing, consulting the teachers and co-operating with them. Mwau is very determined to become an electrical engineer and help the community. He believes that hard work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. He loves athletics.
Joshua loves English and learning. He comes from a poor background and is unable to raise fees for secondary school.
Albanas is the first-born child in a family of four. He is a very hard-working boy and attributes his success in school to his teachers who encouraged him. His father relies on casual jobs which sometimes are not available. His mother has a back-health problem and cannot perform heavy tasks. In his primary education Albanas overcome all odds to emerge the top student in his school. He dreams to be a doctor in future to help the less fortunate in the society. He believes that nothing good come without working for it.
Vaati is the third born in a family of four. His father has been ailing and cannot perform heavy tasks. His mother has been supporting the family through casual jobs. Vaati dreams of becoming a doctor in future because he wants to help the less privileged like his father to access medical services. Covid-19 pandemic was a blessing in a disguise for Vaati. When schools were closed indefinitely, he used to wake up early in the morning to study and revise. He also attended the online classes. He utilized the opportunity well knowing that every cloud has a silver lining and emerged as the best student in his school. He enjoys playing football. Knowing his purpose in school was his secret advantage.

Matata is a daring young boy who believes that success is often achieved by those who don’t know that failure is inevitable. He is the last born in a family of four. His parents are unemployed and largely depend on subsistence farming, which has been negatively affected by frequent severe droughts. Most of the rural roads in his village are very impassable and this has pushed him towards achieving his dream of becoming an engineer. Since Matata was a young boy, he has always liked playing football not only at home but also in school and he was the goalkeeper for his school team.
Malik enjoys science and school. He lives with his aunt as his parents are unable to take care of him. His aunt is unemployed and cannot afford a secondary education for him.
