In my early life I experienced several challenges. One of the most difficult is blindness of my father; He is the one who has paid for my school requirements. I was disappointed when my dreams were in danger. In my future I plan to be a famous scientist all over the world and I am going to attain this by learning several books, listening, and putting more effort in classroom exercises. The moment that I was most proud of is the day I was selected as school head prefect. This shows me that I have leadership skills. Another proud moment was when I passed my national examination. It made me feel that I am good in the class. I hope that I will be in the university four years from now.

Class Rank: 14/88 My happiest moment in my life is when I was selected to join Iringa Girls Secondary School. Thank God for that! I felt sad when my friends was sick and not able to get treated because lack of money. I made up my mind after I grow up I will help those sick people. My dream is to become a medical doctor. I will study harder than other students, and do a lot exercise practices on my subjects. When I become a doctor, I will work in the village where medical resource is lacking. I will contribute part of my income to the School Fund to help those in need of education.

I want to grow up to be a Heart Doctor because there are so many people I know suffer with heart problem. My happiest moment in my life is also the moment I felt so proud of myself. That is when I passed my national exams with the highest in the class. After I become a doctor, I will come back to my community and help those less fortunate people. I also plan to help the School Fund with portion of my salary.

I am the oldest in a family of two children. I come from Iringa but now I live in Dar es Salaam with my mother. I completed my ordinary education level last year and now am taking pre-form 5 studies. I have never seen my father since I was born. My mother has no work so that she cannot pay the school fees and all the necessities of school. I went to school even though I had nothing. I hope that difficult situation never repeats in my life. I was very happy when I found out that I was among the students sponsored by TSF. I want to be a doctor of children. In education, I believe "my effort today, will determine my life tomorrow, and help others".

My name is Eliza. I am living with my parents. My dream is to be a doctor. My life changed in 2010 when our father's business failed. To reach my dream to be a doctor, I will work hard and focus only on studying and I will pass my form 6 examination with division I. The hardest thing I have experienced at school is when I hear other students talk about poor people in a negative way. When I hear that, I think it is discrimination. It is not our fault that we were born poor. The thing I like mostly to do is pray to God. I do believe He is in charge of the universe and tries to help people to do the right things. My happiest moment is when I am at school and studying hard because then I know I am working toward fulfilling my dream to become a doctor. I thank The School Fund for supporting my education. Without their help I would never be where I am today.
