The School Fund TZ carries on the original mission of The School Fund by working directly with schools in Tanzania. Local staff provides scholarships to students with financial need, academic promise, a good work ethic, and a desire to give back to their communities.
The terrible and bad situation for me is the killing of people with Albinism in our country. It has increased since 2009. They live without security, happiness and live in fear. Our friends have lost their lives and others been denied admission to schools and deserted by their family members. To me it was the difficult because I thought that I had no future. My dream is to be a broadcaster. I want to show the world that the people with Albinism are strong and not as others think. I want to change the way my society and family think. In order to reach this dream I will study hard and respect others. I proud of my ability to manage my academic grade regardless of the obstacles and I am sure that two years from now I will be in university.

There are three children in our family and I am the last born. I live with my mother in Dar-es-Salaam. My dream is to become a surgeon because I would love to help people with problems. I believe that I am going to get there through studying hard and paying attention in my studies. The moment that I felt when I won in academic issues against a person I never thought I could defeat. My friends, parents and teachers were glad for me. The happiest moment in my life was when I performed well in my exams. I never thought I could because I was taken home for not paying school fees and made it back in time to do the examinations which I didn’t study for. The difficult experience was when my dad got sick in 2013. I never thought that my daddy would leave me alone when I was in standard 4. He spent two months at the hospital and died. It was saddest day ever. What I have learned through this is that people you love the most may not stay with you forever. And nothing of them will remain in this world. My interest is reading. I believe that one day I will finish all the books in the Dork Diaries series.
School Year 2018
The most difficult experience in my life is poverty. My parents cannot earn enough from farming to provide all that our family requires. I am thankful that my fees in O-level were paid by The School Fund. It would be difficult for me to be in the place I am without The School Fund. My hope is to finish Form 6 and go to university to become a pilot. I was proud when I passed standard 7 and Form 4 national exams and was chosen to joint Form 5. After I graduate from university, I will repay The School Fund by helping new TSF students and teaching them to follow the ethics of our country. When I get a job, I will help our family to get out of poverty.
School Year 2017
In my family we have three brothers and one sister. I am the last child. My dream is to be a medical doctor specialized in skin. In order to achieve it, I study hard and cooperate with other students. Passing my examination and being accepted for secondary school is the one thing which I proud of. In my all life, being in the School Fund is the happiest thing in my life. Four years from now, I expect to finish my secondary studies. I hope to pass and go A-level. The most difficult time in my life was when my mother was sick for a long time. It made me sad and unhappy and is a thing which I can’t forget. In order to achieve my dream I work hard and want to become a doctor because my mother had trouble with her skin and suffered from skin problems until she got medical treatment.
School Year 2018
Class Rank: 2/54 I want to be a doctor to help others. I know how important it is to have a whole family support their children. I study very hard because I know the situation of my family. My mother struggles to make sure I go to school, because my father left her. When I reach my dream I want to make sure my children have a good life so that they won't have to have the same experience that I do. I will try to give back to the TSF so that they can help more children like me.
School Year 2018
Class rank: 2/31 My dream in life is to be a teacher who is able to teach the students of A-Level Physics and Chemistry. And my aim to teach these subjects is to prepare good professionals like doctors, physicists, engineers and science teachers. Upon my success I wish to help people with problems like crippled and deaf patients, because I was born crippled and I got helped too. My parents were not able to send me to the hospital for treatment. But fortunately a kind man helped me and I became normal. Being crippled was the most difficult thing I experienced in my life since I was depending on my parents and relatives as I was unable to walk. My happiest moment in my life was the time I was told my Form 4 results of the National Exams were out and I had passed to join to A-Level education. Two years from now I shall have accomplished Form 6 and join at the university taking my profession of becoming a teacher. Lastly, I would like to thank for the opportunity given to me by The School Fund. I will work on it effectively.
