The School Fund TZ

When I grow up I would like to be a pilot. I will study hard in school to prevent losing the golden chance that I have got from the School Fund. I want to be a pilot. It was my dream when I was younger and it is now. The happiest moment in my life was when I passed my last primary school exam. I felt that my dream could come true as I continued my educational. Sometimes there are difficult experiences, like when I want something I cannot have at the time it is needed but with the School Fund I hope that problem will be solved. I felt proud of myself when I got high marks in my studies.

My name is Amani. The most difficult experience I had in early life was poverty. From poverty I learned that education is the only instrument that can eradicate it. My dream for my life is to become a doctor and I will get there through obedience to teachers and working with teachers and students who have experience in science subjects and studying hard. I will make sure that improvement in my studies takes first position. I will work with other students and share ideas with them. I want to reach my goal in science subjects. I felt especially proud of myself when I passed the Form 4 National examinations. The happiest moment of my life would be to succeed in my studies. What I want to accomplish over four years is to have my school fees paid and to keep studying hard so as to reach my goal.

My home life is so difficult. But even so, my mother ensured that I will attend school and get a quality education. In my family I am the only one who has the highest education level. I am the last born to my mother. Our life started to be hard when my father left us. My mother took work as food vendor. She cooks different foods and she sells the food in the market. After completing my primary school, I was selected to join a secondary school, but my mother doesn't have enough money to send me to school. Someone helped her with a little capital and my mother started another business. She now sells fish at market. She is a business woman! When I complete my advanced level education with the highest mark Division 1, and also when I reach my goal of becoming a public speaker, I will be the voice of all the less fortunate people.

My most difficult experience was happened when my father had an accident at Yuole. It was 12:00pm when he was coming home. It was not his fault only a bad luck that he broke his legs and hand. Thanks to God, he is all well now. This experience taught me to be extra careful when I am on the street. Someday I want to become an engineer. There are many orphans, street children and disabled people in Tanzania. When my dreams come true, I will ask all my dear friends join me help those poor people by starting an organization.

Class Rank: 6/88 I felt proud when I passed my National Exam, also when I helped my friend to learn who to read and write. My happiest time is when I performed well in the class and got the top grade. My most difficult experience is when my father told us that we are not his children, I don't even know who is my real father. I felt sad but I determined to live a better life in the future. I learned that in order to live in good environment I need to study hard and work hard. My dream job is to become accountant, it is a well paid job. I will then have money to help community orphans. After that I shall build a school to help people who have no money for their children's education. I shall also help the School Fund to pay school fees for students who are selected.

I come from Songea Municipal and I live with my mother only because my parents are separated. I have one sister and one brother and one young sister and one young brother. My mother ended school in primary and my father ended in secondary level. My mother is a shopkeeper. I scored grade A at the end of primary level and I have chosen Iringa Girls Secondary School. I am very proud to be a member of Iringa Girls Secondary School. Now I am a form 1 student. I will not lose this opportunity because of the following words: the Golden Chance never comes twice. After I finish my education, I want to be a pharmacist. I will help all people and people who have disabilities like me. I need help because I am poor. This is the end of my story. And, lastly, I say thanks to the School Fund team for this opportunity.
