My difficult experience was when my father did not have money to pay my school fees. I got sent back home from school waiting for my father to pay before I was allowed to return. From that experience, I learned that when you want to achieve something you should work hard for it, just like how my father worked hard until he got money to pay my school fees. The happiest moment in my life is when I learned that I ranked the first in my class of 33 students. My parents are so proud of me. Being at the top of my class really shows my great effort. They are sure that they did not send me to school to play, but to study. Four years from now I want to achieve my dream to become a doctor. I can prove to the world that girls can also do well if they put in their best effort. When I fulfill my dream, I will help my community. I will treat them all fairly in regardless they are poor or rich.

I remember a story my mother told me when I was young. It was evening and people had started going home. It was raining very heavily. A girl called Youma and her younger sister were outside. They were feeling cold. Nobody was there to help them. My mother was touched by their condition and took them in and gave them shelter. My mother told me that I should worry about people who are suffering and help them if I can. When my dream of being a teacher has come true, I promise to help other people.

My most difficult experience was happened when my father had an accident at Yuole. It was 12:00pm when he was coming home. It was not his fault only a bad luck that he broke his legs and hand. Thanks to God, he is all well now. This experience taught me to be extra careful when I am on the street. Someday I want to become an engineer. There are many orphans, street children and disabled people in Tanzania. When my dreams come true, I will ask all my dear friends join me help those poor people by starting an organization.

I came from the Manyara Region; I am now at Karatu Secondary School for Advanced level. My life has passed with various challenges. Our family lives in the areas where the soil has no fertility. The yields we obtain are so little that it does not support our entire life. The farm that we depend on is very small. We have no cattle; our house is poor and made of sticks. This challenge was very hard for me especially in my academic performance. I got to A-Level with help and assistance. I didn’t pay the school fees since I had no money. My dream is to become a doctor. I can get there by studying harder and harder. I will be very happy if one day I reach my goal. Two years from now I will be in university.

My biggest ambition is to be a pharmacist. My aim is to help patients with diseases. I know that I can’t reach there if I don’t do my best. I will study hard so that I can reach my destiny. Not only do I want to help the patients, but I also want to help my family to the better life we deserve. I felt proud of myself is when I performed well in my secondary final exams by getting Division I. At that moment, I felt that all four years I spent struggling at school wasn’t for nothing. The happiest moment of my life was when my mother was proud of me after my final exams and gave me her blessing. That is a moment I will never forget. My mother always supports and encourages me. Not only my mother but also my brothers were proud and happy for me. In my life the most difficult experience I had was after my parents separated due to my father’s bad treatment of my mother. I was only five years old. After that, my mother carried all the responsibility of raising me and my two brothers with nobody’s help. This is the reason I study hard. I want to help my mother so that she can rest after all those times.
