I am the oldest in my family but my parents have three children in my family. I do live with my mother only. She is the one who cares and make thing possible in my life. Obviously it was difficult for me to get to school on time because of my mother issues and activities. After all that happened to me, I am happy that now I am here at Iringa Girls. I study hard to achieve my goal. I do have a dream and I hope one day I will reach it. I want to be an engineer, the best person to help others in difficult situations. The happiest moment in my life was when I started to believe that I could perform well in mathematics. Then I received my exam results and got score above 50. Since that day, I prefer mathematics to all other subjects.

I came from the Manyara Region; I am now at Karatu Secondary School for Advanced level. My life has passed with various challenges. Our family lives in the areas where the soil has no fertility. The yields we obtain are so little that it does not support our entire life. The farm that we depend on is very small. We have no cattle; our house is poor and made of sticks. This challenge was very hard for me especially in my academic performance. I got to A-Level with help and assistance. I didn’t pay the school fees since I had no money. My dream is to become a doctor. I can get there by studying harder and harder. I will be very happy if one day I reach my goal. Two years from now I will be in university.

I am 14 years old at Kleruu secondary school form 1. The most difficult experience I had was when my mother left me when I was young and rejected me as her child. Whenever I remember that situation, I feel very sad. My dream in my life is to become a heart doctor. In order to get there I must study hard. I feel especially proud myself when I play football and score goals.
School Year 2018
I am from a nuclear family with poor economic status. We depend on a small plot of farm. Paying for my school needs is difficult. At the beginning of the first term of my school, I hoped to do better in my class and now I am. I worked with carpenters during the break in order to pay school requirements. It was difficult to keep reviewing in mind what we learned for the whole term. My father did not go to secondary school and he doesn't understand the value of education. My dream is to be an engineer I can reach this by learning good skills.
School Year 2018
I am the fifth born in our family of six children. When I was in standard 1, life was very hard because I myself and four sisters and brothers all were at school that year. At that time, life became tough because every child needed fees for the school uniform and other school supplies but my father did not have money. The farm which we used to cultivate was taken by other people. The time when I felt happy was when I passed my standard 7 examination and was chosen to be a School Fund student. At primary school, I was also chosen to be the head girl. For these things in my life I feel so happy and they influence me to study. I want to become a great person in my life. Four years from now, I want to finish form 4 and be at A-level.
School Year 2018
The most difficult experience of my life is when my mother died. I have to help out some house chores, but that does not stop me from studying hard. I want to be an eye doctor to help those who suffer eye problems. I will study hard and make sure I pass my exams. I felt proud of myself when I am able to make other people happy. My happiest moment in my life is when I passed my exams and my family were proud of me too. When I fulfill my dream I will build an eye hospital to treat all types of eye problem. I will contribute half of my salary to the School Fund to help more needy children.
