About

My name is Patricia. I am the last born in my family. My father died when I was three years old and my mother died when I was four. My aunt took me to Dar es Salaam. I started class one in 2007 and finished class seven in 2013. My ambition is to become a counselor. My aunt is not capable of paying my school fees because she is retired. I believe that education will help me and I will help others.

Hi Girls

How is school so far? Did you have a good winter break?
It is summer in North America. So usually we would like to take summer vacations.

I just got back from my trip to Iceland. From the name of this country, you can figure out the weather there is kind of cold and it is. Because it is located very close to the Arctic circle, the days do not go dark during summer time. But in December, it is dark for about 20 hours. I was told the cows have to go inside the barn in October and have to stay inside until May. I do not think the cows are happy about that. So it is not a good place to visit in the winter.

It is called a country of fire and ice. We saw many waterfalls, glaciers, geysers and volcanos. As an animal lover, I was excited to see the bird, Puffin and the beautiful Iceland horses.

Here is the link for you to get some more information on Iceland

Iceland is very different from Tanzania. After reading it, you probably will feel very happy that you are not living in such cold climate.

Have fun studying.

Until next time

Indy
