Willie is a very outgoing and friendly young man who came to us with his little brother, Richard. Both parents had died, leaving them as orphans to beg on the streets. Since coming to Maison de Lumiere, Willie always has had a big smile on his face. His favorite past time is playing soccer and he dreams of playing professionally one day. Willie loves to be very helpful around the house and regularly cooks dinner for the boys, which the boys really enjoy. Willie is also quite good at speaking English and loves to interact with visiting missions team members and our American missionaries. Please keep Willie in your prayers as he continues to grow in the grace and love of Jesus.

Clermond, along with his brother Clifford, mother, and sister were homeless when we first met them. They had been moving from one house to another prior to living at Maison de Lumiere. His father died when he was young and his mother struggled to care for her children. When his mother got very ill, she brought Clermond and Clifford to the boys' home because she could no longer feed them. Clermond enjoys his new life at the orphanage. He is a friendly, loving, and sweet boy who is very interested in learning new things. At the transition house he is already learning skills in carpentry, silk screening, and baking. His dream is to one day build robots. Clermond also loves Jesus and has such a kind and sensitive heart. Please pray that he will grow into a godly young man who is passionate for the Lord.
