Arianda is 18 years old, a polite and hard-working young woman. She lives with her Lola (grandmother). Her Lola's income is from sewing and selling shopping bags. Arianda has a weekend job packing sweets, to support her Lola. In 2015 Arianda enters her final college year, studying BS in Information Technology. She hopes to pursue a career in IT after she graduates.

Jenipher writes: "I am the last born in my family of 2 sisters. I live with my aunt I don't know my parents. Even when I ask about my parents no one gives me a straight answer. I want very much to know about my parents but they seem to be a puzzle. My aunt, uncle and I depend on farming but they don't earn enough money to support me in my studies, which is why I have been sent back home several times for failing to pay school fees."

Sandra will be graduating this year from her institute as a trained accountant. Sandra is from a small rural community in the Sacred Valley region of Peru, so it would be very difficult for her family to travel attend her graduation ceremony in Cusco, Peru. Therefore, Mosqoy will be hosting a graduation ceremony for Sandra in her hometown so that family and friends can participate in this event. During her school year, Sandra also participated in Mosqoy's "Kallpa K'oj" program in which students are encouraged to give back to their communities through volunteer services. Sandra decided to assist in the construction of the Bombon Weaving Center for this service. Mosqoy volunteers were incredibly impressed with her dedication and work ethic as she worked all day to haul large eucalyptus logs out from the jungle to build the weaving center. Sandra has been faced with some challenging family circumstances this year. However, she has chosen to continue focusing on her studies and spending time with her new friends and peers, and has excelled in the program.

Irene has recently switched her studies from Nursing to International Business Administration. Although the institution through which she was studying Nursing was well-researched and reputable, it has declined in its standards this past year. She found that she was not being provided with the resources and organization that she needed to gain the proper skill set. Mosqoy will now be looking for funding opportunities to cover the additional costs of enrolling students in more reliable nursing programs that can be offered through universities in the future; however, in order to graduate in the near future, Irene chose to pursue another career path. She is now very happy with her decision to switch and is dedicated to her new program.

Rolando is studying mechanics at the Senati Institute in Cusco, Peru. He has impressed Mosqoy volunteers by maintaining strong grades even though he is enrolled in a highly competitive program at the best mechanics institute in Cusco. In order to attend post-secondary school, many students from rural highland communities in Peru must move to the city for the first time. In order to maintain stability and a sense of community, Mosqoy provides students with a home to stay in together in Cusco called "Casa Mosqoy." Rolando has been very polite to other students and helpful to the volunteers working at Casa Mosqoy. During Rolando's stay at Casa Mosqoy some of his additional sponsors were able to visit him in August, which he was very excited about.

This year Elmer will be going into his last semester in Computer Science and technology at the Khipu institute in Cusco, Peru. Elmer has maintained strong grades at Khipu, the most renowned technical institute in Cusco. He will be following this semester of academic studies with a "professionalization" practicum, providing him with both academic training and hands-on technical experience. He remains passionate about his career choice and is very excited about this opportunity. Elmer is from a small rural community in the Sacred Valley region of Peru, so it would be very difficult for his family to travel to attend his graduation ceremony in Cusco, Peru. Therefore, Mosqoy will be hosting a graduation ceremony for Elmer in his hometown so that family and friends can participate in this event. Elmer has also become a very dedicated volunteer in Mosqoy's new program called "Kallpa Koj." Under this program, students are encouraged to give back to their communities through volunteer services. In order to provide volunteer services to his community, Elmer participated in the building of the Bombon Weaving Center. Additionally, he travelled to three rural villages in the region to act as a Spanish-Quechua translator. Community members, students and staff were very impressed with his professional demeanor, charisma and natural ability to coordinate community meetings. He is a natural-born communicator and translator.

Clayda has chosen to study International Business Administration at a highly competitive technical institute. Clayda wrote, I am proud to be part of this project, which transforms the lives of young people of this generation. Clayda is the daughter of agricultural workers, and sister of four other siblings. She self-identifies as someone who is always looking to improve her lot in life, and who is enthusiastic to follow her dreams. Clayda is from a small town called Ollantaytambo in the Sacred Valley of Peru. This is the last living Incan town in the region where the road to Machu Pichu ends and tourists transfer to trains for the remainder of the trip.

Kennedy is currently living with his mother at Siranga village, Ukwala division. His father died September last year (2012), the mother is a domestic farmer, now struggling to make ends meet and pay school fees for her five children. Kennedy is the first born of the five sibling. He went to Siranga Primary school where she attained 370 marks out of 500marks in 2012. Due to his parents' inability to raise his school fees, he could not join a national school, so he had to go to a district school. Kennedy is an active member of catholic church youth group and organising secretary of Humwend secondary mathematics club. He is thus appealing to you to support him through his schooling and attain his life goals.

Alex has become a positive role model for his peers, as he is mature and has shared his mathematical talents by providing voluntary tutoring sessions for his peers. He is committed to his community and returns every weekend to learn traditional knowledge from his father, who is the president of the community's weaving cooperative. Alex is also an artist, making bone carvings, clay sculptures, and paintings in his spare time. Alex has found a unique way to combine his artistic talent and passion for technical engineering. This year he helped his parents to remodel their adobe house by designing and creating intricate clay sculptures for the walls of his house. During his school year, Alex participated in Mosqoy's "Kallpa K'oj" program in which students are encouraged to give back to their communities through volunteer services. During his community volunteer work, Alex renovate the elementary-school library in a rural village called Q'enqo. He painted a mural for the library to make it inspiring and culturally appropriate for the young students. Combining these diverse talents, Alex hopes to pursue a career in Architectural Engineering & Design, upon graduating with his degree.
