I am a first born in our family and I have one young sister. At the time I was born my father had already passed away. After my mother died of HIV/AIDS my sister and I moved to our aunt's. My uncle is a small scale peasant farmer. His income is not enough to pay my school fees. I believe that education will help me to reach my goals.
School Year 2016
Class Rank: 1/70 I am happy because the School Fund sponsors me and gives me this opportunity to continue my secondary education. My dream for life is becoming an engineer but the only way to get there is through studying very hard to achieve my goal. I will do my best to ensure that I pass the tests of all the subjects. The difficult experience I had in my early life was seeing the Form 4 students crying just because they had failed their national examination. The time that I felt so proud of myself was when I scored the highest score when I took the exams. After achieving my goals I will help other children or members of the School Fund by paying their school fees Just as I now am being helped. Because without it I can not reach my dream and become a successful engineer. I will also encourage and help other children to motivate their studies. By the name of God and the help of School Fund I am sure that I will achieve what I planned.
School Year 2016
Class Rank: 2/70 I am so happy and thankful for being sponsored by the School Fund. My dream is to become an engineer when I complete my studies. By studying science subjects and performing well, I will be able to reach my goal to become an engineer. I scored the 2nd out of 70 students in my class. I am very proud of myself. The most difficult experience I had in my life was when my grandfather passed away. From his death, I learn that we all are mortal, can not live forever. The happiest moment in my life was when I was chosen to be sponsored by the School Fund. After I fulfill my dreams to become an engineer, I would like to sponsor other students. It will be my pleasure to support the School Fund to help and sponsor more students in the country.
School Year 2016
I am the oldest child in my family and I have two sisters, both of them in primary school. I cannot express in words the happiness that swamped me when I was chosen to join TSF. It ended problems relating to my studies. I felt proud of myself when I was selected to represent my school in the science competition. It was a challenge for me but I refused to sell out the opportunity because the school believed in me. I hope one day to represent my country. I want to be a cardiac surgeon. To be a cardiac surgeon is more than a calling and I must have things like good performance, trust, respect and discipline. If I succeed, I will be able to help my family and also I will always feel good to give a bit of earnings to others.
School Year 2016
My class rank is 59 out of 245 students. My mother raised me by herself since I was young. My early experience is that I remember that I used to cry when my mother left to go to the market. We are just two in number in our home. My mother is a tailor. My dream is to be an engineer.
School Year 2016
I have an older brother and a young one. My father is a tailor, my mother is a housewife. When my grandfather died, life became difficult. My parents had problem paying schools fees, as a result I had been missing some of my studies. I am a hardworking girl particularly in studies. I want to be a lawyer. I know the road is hard but I have always told myself that with determination I can achieve. When I saw my form 4 national exam results were good, I knew my hard work had paid off. The day I saw my name among the few chosen for advanced education, that was the happiest moment in my life. Two years from now I want to be in university so I can fulfill my lifelong dream. I always say you may not be perfect but you are good enough for something.
School Year 2016
There are seven children in our family and I'm the last born. My father is a watchman and my mother is a small scale peasant. My parents do not have enough income to pay for my school fees. I believe that education will make me reach my dream of becoming a doctor and help my family and other people around me.
School Year 2016
I live with my mother in Iringa. I was very happy and proud when I got my form 4 results. The dream of my life is to become a doctor. I am sure one day I will achieve it by studying hard, having self-discipline and cooperating effectively with my fellow students and teachers. I look forward to being a doctor and helping other people who are in need. My father died one year after my birth. My mother struggles by herself to look after me. It is very difficult for her as the amount she earns as an assistant teacher in a private primary school is very low. Four years from now, I want to be a doctor. Thank you to all TSF members and donors who are helping us so we can study.
