Sunaina left her studies after 8th class because in her village there was no school after 8th. Now she is part of swabhiman program. In her family there are 10 members. She has four brothers and three sisters. Her father is a farmer and mother is a home maker.

Fernando was born in Sofala province. He is a very humble boy, does not have many friends and spends more time at home when he is not at school. His favorite hobby is listening to music at home. In 2012, the parents separated due to social problems. In 2013 his father died. He used to be a carpenter. After his father's death, Fernando’s mother abandoned him. His grandmother took care of him and then he moved to live with his aunty. The aunt has 2 children and does not make any activity that generates income to sustain the family. Her husband does little jobs in the construction field to help the family survive. When the uncle does not get a job, they may spend a day without a meal.

Rosa was born in Sofala province. She is a very calm and a smiling girl. She loves to play with her friends of the same age. She is orphaned of father, who died in 2011, victim of illness. He used to do little jobs in the construction field. After her father's death, her mother abandoned the children and disappeared to an uncertain part until today. No one knows if she is alive or not. Rosa went to live with her uncle. His work is helping the fishermen pulling the nets. With the salary he earns, he is not able to sustain all the needs of his family. If the girl will not get support, she will have to stop studying.

Moses is a brilliant student in Form 1. He has always been in the best position in his class. In his school history, he was always a hard working student. It is his dream to become a teacher. Moses comes from a family of five children Their mother pages for their meals by doing odd jobs when ver possible. The income Moses' mother makes can't cover many of his or his siblings basic needs, and certainly can't cover the cost of school for her children. Moses depends on the generosity of donors to help him reach his academic goals. He believes if he is able to get an education, he can support his family, and the community at large, by returning to teach.

Philemon lives at Hafumbre village with his grandmother. He is the fourth born in a family of six sibling. He went to Hafumbre Primary school where he attained 286 marks out of 500marks in 2012. Both of his parents are small scale farmers. The father has three wives. The elder siblings never went to school. Due to his parents' inability to raise his school fees, he has to look elsewhere for assistance, and base a lot of hopes on you.
