Gibson is an amazing young man and Evans' younger brother. He also grew up begging on the streets of Port-au-Prince, struggling to survive. Gibson is very shy and soft spoken but you will notice his sweet and genuine demeanor right away. His mother works at the home as a cook. Gibson is an excellent student, consistently at the top of his class. He is an incredible musician and has become the orphanage worship leader. Gibson plays the acoustic guitar, lead guitar, bass, and has recently learned to play the cello. Gibson also teaches our younger children how to play guitar and has become a great mentor.

Davidson came to us for the first time immediately after the earthquake. The house that he and his mother were living in collapsed and they had nowhere to live. We helped them rent a house for the year, but five months later his mother became seriously ill and passed away. Immediately after the funeral, Davidson walked all the way to our boys' home because he had nowhere else to go and remembered the love he felt at the home. Davidson has such an incredibly sweet disposition about him. He is always helping others, whether working with the new kids in the orphanage as they get acclimated or assisting staff members on various projects. Davidson worships God with such earnest thanksgiving through song. Please pray for Davidson, that he would continue to grow in the knowledge and hope of Jesus Christ.
