I was born to a family that is nomadic. However, after we lost most of our cattle to cattle rustling and famine, my parents resorted to burning charcoal as a means of livelihood. This means is unstable and has always put my family at greater financial risks. Also, most of the girls in my village are not so enthusiastic about education. They get married at an early age, something very much encouraged by the cultural practices around this place. I work hard everyday in school to be among the few girls who wish to break the ceiling. it is my belief that some day we will achieve this.

I am the second born of five children. We live with our parents, my father and mother. It is a happy family and our parents do everything they can to keep us going. We all depend on my father's meager income and sometimes it becomes difficult to support my older sister in school. I have great ambitions of making it in life and I believe I can achieve my greatest goals with a good education. I have always committed to see this pass and the TSF support is the right platform for me and am grateful.
