Milena was born in Santo Domingo de los Colorados, but the family moved to Quito shortly afterwards. She is the youngest member of the family. She likes studying and has found it difficult not having face-to-face lessons during the pandemic. She has particularly missed the dance classes and presentations wearing traditional Ecuadorian dress, which the school organised.
School Year 2023
Brenda lives with her mother and two older siblings. Her mother struggles to support them through her low-paid work. She started to learn to play the violin in her primary school and is now continuing to have lessons through the Condor Trust. She loves playing the violin and would like to become a great violinist.
School Year 2020
Anita has so far had a very difficult life. She is an only child, although this wasn't always the case. A younger brother died of cancer four years ago and her father also died a few years previously. At the moment Anita lives with her mother. She is very dedicated to her studies. When she first came to the Condor Trust two years ago, she was very sad and shy, but this is changing little by little. Now she is beginning to dream about the future and what she might be able to do.
School Year 2019
Michelle has a younger sister and lives with her mother, her aunt and her grandmother. Her father has left them, and this has given Michelle some very sad moments. In spite of this, she is a very lively girl, sure of herself and mature for her age. She is a very good student and regularly gets good grades. She is always keen to become involved in activities at school and at the foundation. Michelle has several young cousins, all of them girls, and she has become a role model for them to follow.

Alexander is a very intelligent boy - the best student in his class. He loves music and is learning to play the guitar. His teacher thinks he is very gifted at it. Alex lives with his parents and a younger brother. His parents are very keen for him to do well and they support him as much as they can. He is very mature for his age and takes life seriously.
