When I was young, it was hard to study because my mom was unable to pay my school fees on time and give me schoolbooks and supplies. Then I got a sickness that made me unhappy, weak, and too disabled to attend school. My mom did not have enough money to take me the hospital but she asked a neighbor to help me. I am grateful that I recovered. When I grow up, I want to be a doctor. To win that goal, I’ll study hard and search for different materials from books, the internet, and teachers, as well as trusting myself that I will succeed. I am proud of myself. It was awesome to hear that I passed my Form 4 examination. A happy moment in my life was when I was selected as a TSF member. My mom, my younger brother and sisters and I celebrated together when I got that chance. Two years from now I graduate Advanced level education, then I proceed with university so as to reach my goals.
School Year 2016
Before I was in The School Fund family, it was too hard for me to attend school when the school fee was not paid. Because of The School Fund, I learned never to give up. For some years now, my family has been separated. I had to live away from home during my Ordinary level studies. My mother had gone to Arusha to start another life so it was hard for me to be with her during my school years. My dream is to be a doctor and treat my fellow Tanzanians and even others from outside my country. For me to get there, I have to work on my studies. The moment I felt proud of myself was when I was told that I would be one of The School Fund Family. The happiest moments of my life are when I see my mother.
School Year 2016
My most difficult experience was when my mother passed away. She used to cheer me up and motivate me to study harder and harder. Everything started to change and I realized that I should value every moment of my life. I have to work hard to achieve what I want in my life. My dream is to become a biology professor. I want to do research on living things and find cures for diseases. I have to study hard, valuing time, and to appreciate the kindness of people around me. They stand up for me and raise me up. It motivates me to search for more educational material and put more time into my studies. I was really proud to be under The School Fund’s sponsorship I will have some people who are like family to me to support my education. I was also really proud when I was selected to study for a month at Babson College Two years from now I want to be able to help, motivate, and inspire, and solve many problems that people around me face, so that to grow their economic status.
School Year 2016
When I was young, my mother told me that my father rejected me before I was born. It was very painful for me to learn that there are times when you need someone’s help and he or she can abandon you and leave you helpless. My happiest moment in life was when I passed my Form 4 National Examination. I was especially proud of myself because I had made one step towards the dream of my life. I was full of joy and happiness. My mother and relatives were very happy, too. Their advice and encouragement inspires me to fulfill my dream of a good life and a happy family. I won’t lose heart and stop helping others who have needs. I would not have been able to achieve what I have without help from my friends, teachers, my schoolmates and my classmates, my mother, my relatives and all people I have In my network.
School Year 2016
Class Rank: 2/57 During a bad moment, I decided to always study hard so I can reach my goal becoming an accountant. What I learned from that hard moment was that I have to pay respects to my parent, because no matter what hardship she experiences herself, she makes sure I get good education so I can have a better and easier life. When my parents separated and my Father left because of a family misunderstanding, I lived with my mother. During that time my mother had no job but even though she struggled, she still made sure that I went to school and got good education.
