Coming from an uneducated and very poor family, Abhishek finds it hard to attend school regularly, because he has to work to support his family. Although he does well in languages, his low attendance means he struggles with Math and science due to the lack of continuity. When he comes to school he loves participating in extra-curricular activities and this year represented his house in athletics.

Roopa is a bright student. She attained 182 marks out 250 in her half yearly exam. She got first ranked in her class. Apart from studies she likes to cook food. In her free time she plays with her friends. Her aspiration is to become a teacher. In her family her father is no more. So she lives with her uncle. Her uncle is a farmer. Her mother is a home maker. She does only domestic farming. She can't afford Roopa's school fees. She has a younger brother. Her brother is student of class 6 at SLRC. Roopa wants to finish her higher studies first. Then she wants to economically independent.

Due to weak financial conditions Kiran had to leave school. She passed 8th class. After 8th her father was not able to afford her fees. Her father is a farmer. Sometimes he does labor work for more income. Mother is no more. She has 3 sisters and 1 brother. Kiran has all household responsibilities of her family. She wants to be a tailor.
