Raised $340 from 3 donors Needs $0

For years my father had been the bread winner of the house. In 2012 when he was killed I was in standard four but after that day I dedicated most of my time to helping my mother with casual labor. Every moment I was not able to attend school regularly. My mother started to wash clothes and sell dagaa [omena] to people for her to buy food. Mother always does her best but still it's not enough to balance with school fees. I thank SHOFCO for the opportunity to further my studies.

Im Dorine Anyango Owuor in form 4 west at Our Lady of Mercy school. Shofco has been my Pillar throughout and besides the Scholarship program, I have always been attending the mentorship classes. The mentorship programs have greatly helped me to overcome my challenges both at home and in school. I have been able to deal with issues such as drug substance abuse and growth of self esteem and self awareness as well. With the scholarship programme have always been in school and my studies have not been affected by lack of school fees. That's why I have been been performing well. I got a B- TO FORM 4. I thank SHOFCO for this opportunity for granting me this opportunity to fulfil my dreams in high school.
