Dear TSF Sponsors,

This is Samantha, the Scholarship Coordinator at Orkeeswa School, writing on behalf of Amina. Amina is learning a lot in the 8th Grade this year, and recently, in her Life Skills classes, she has been learning about the importance of exploring and identifying different aspects of her personal identity. She wrote this beautiful poem about herself, and I thought you would like to read it!

Amina
Creative, beautiful, kind, and helpful
Friend of Nembris, Tumaini, and Upendo
Who loves playing volleyball, eating, and working hard
Who is afraid of snakes, fighting, and bad friends
Who learned how to write essays and play music
Who hopes to make good decisions and achieve her goals
Lives near Orkeeswa Secondary School

Hi, TSF Sponsors!

This is Samantha, the Scholarship Coordinator at Orkeeswa School. Amina is a bright and confident 7th grader who is always smiling and usually the first student to raise her hand in class after every question. Recently, in her Life Skills class, Amina wrote a poem about her home and community. I thought you might like to read it to get a bit more insight into her values and interests!

Thank you for your support of Amina and Orkeeswa School.

With gratitude,
