Nthenya is the firstborn child in a family of four. Her parents rely on odd jobs to cater for the family needs.  Despite many challenges, Nthenya emerged victorious in her exams. She aspires to be a doctor in future to treat the less privileged in the society especially children. She believes that one rises by uplifting others.

It`s being long since we had a chat and hope you are good am good too.It has been a long holiday and have worked hard on my weak parts in my studies.Have been coming at Kenya connect for the tuition and they have been good and helped me a lot.Have also being helping my parents in doing the home chores.I thank you for being supportive in my education and may God bless you abundantly.Am glad that am going back to school and am going to do my best. He feels lucky to be able to attend school and have the opportunity to earn an education. For this reason, Khadar enjoys studying and doing well in his classes. His favorite subjects are math, science, and English. He enjoys reading history books and playing football outside of class. In the future, Khadar hopes to be able to travel and see more of his country. Going to the Abaarso School, Khadar has learned a lot about their community’s diversity and more about his country. It is this new knowledge that has inspired him to want to travel throughout his home country to see and learn more about it.
