About

Agnes is the second born child in a family of six. Despite facing many challenges, she managed to emerge second top student in her school. Her poor background did not deter her from achieving her goal. She is very determined to succeed in life and become the first surgeon in her village. Her father is a woodcarver while her mother is a house wife. Due to lack of market for wood carvings her father has not been able to provide for the big family. This coupled with frequent droughts has seen the family lack basic needs like food. Agnes is very focused and believes that no man is limited in this world.

Hello friends and donors!
I hope that you are doing great. It's a privilege to inform you that I will be joining form 4 by 23rd January this year. It has been a joyous holiday full of activities to engage in. I have also helped my parents in doing home chores. More importantly, I have been attending the Kenya Connect mentorship sessions which are motivating me as I am going for my last academic year in high school.I have been using the library to do my personal studies and discussions all through the holiday break to improve my grade.
During the holiday I have read several novels available in the library such 'Harry Potter' , "Eleven Minutes" and some others, the novel "Eleven Minutes" by Paulo Coelho is educative and interesting to read. It has taught me that love (sex) is not something to be said among teenagers.
I am still working towards my dream believing that no man is limited. Thanks a lot for your continued support to my education . May God bless you abundantly and expand your territories.
Hi Allies and Donors
Hello, I hope you are doing great. It's another precious opportunity that Almighty God has granted unto us.I thank Him for His blessing, rain grace and protection.
It's my pleasure to inform you that I am at home for a holiday which will last for almost 8 weeks. It' s important to inform that I am now in my last step of my high school life. the good thing that keeps me going is that ,the start does not matter a lot but that matters much is the end of the journey.
During the term I have learnt that, the difference between winners and losers is that winners never give up when others have.Winners endure everything and are determined to win. Also, I have learnt never to be a medicine in my life and never practice procrastination it is a disease that kills up the " root".
Further more, I would like to share my story with you .
THE ROAD TO SUCCESS
The road to success is not straight. There are curves called failures,a loop called confusion, speed bumps called friends, red sign called enemies. But all in all,in this journey one has to have boldness and make a step and move on provided one has a spare part called determination,an engine called perseverance and insurance called faith. With a driver called "Jesus" you can reach a place called success! If you dream it ,you can have it and whatever the mind can conceive man can achieve it.
To Kenya connect fraternity,Thanks may God bless you abundantly. For sure you are raising people who are soon going to wear the accolade of this society.
Hi friends and donors,

I am glad that I have a slight improvement in my three weak subjects_Mathematics,English and Business studies- in school. This has been achieved after working relentlessly at school. It has acted as a catalyst in my studies as I am working extra harder to achieve my dream .I am sure that I will wear the accolade of the society by achieving my meritorious performance.
I thank Kenya Connect fraternity for the continued support in my education journey. May Almighty bless you abundantly .
Bye!
Agnes
Hello allies and friends,
How are your doings?Hope you are doing great as am doing. I thank Almighty God for his protection and mercy upon my life and my family up to this point.
I would like to inform you that I have come for a mid-term break which will be coming to an end on 11th this month. Also my country (Kenya) will be conducting elections tomorrow.Having a few days to my National exam it's my prayer that the elections will be peaceful so that there will be no interference with our studies.
Furthermore, I would like to inform you that I am still working relentlessly to achieve my meritorious performance at the end of the course. Knowing that I am the epitome of success I will do my best to wear the accolade of my society.
To my surprise I have got only 456 days to do my National exam. Having the knowledge that , a stitch in time saves nine;I am working fingers to bones to achieve my dream.
Lastly,
I would like to leave a Persian quote which says, thinking well is good ;planning well is better;and doing well is the best. Also, the fastest way to do many things is to do them one at a time.
Byeeeee!
Hi friends and donors
How do you do? I hope you are doing great. It has been a while since I have chatted with you.I am still putting more efforts in my studies to achieve my dreams.I had come for a short holiday but now its almost over, I will be reporting back to school on 11 July 2022.

I thank Almighty for keeping me up to this point and showering His blessings upon my family and I. As a family we are thankful to God for keeping us away from the challenges we were going through before. Also I thank Him for healing my dad, he is now doing great.

During this holiday ,I have mainly spend my time studying and also helping my parents doing the home chores.I have only read one story book entitled `The Chocolate Factory`.It was enjoyable and fun to read the story book. From that story I learnt that it is important to follow instructions always even if they seem to be minor to you.

As I will be going back to school, I have one thing in mind only, to work hard in studies because success will not come to me but I have to go for it.

To the Kenya connect fraternity I am so thankful for your support in my education .It really means a lot in my life.May God bless you abundantly.
Hi friends and donors
How is the going?Hope you are doing well.I have being doing great at school still working hard to achieve my dreams.Bearing in mind that, quitters never win only those who bear the roughness of the journey win.
It a sad moment for me since my dad got an accident, although he survived I still have worry when I see her crying in pain and agony. But in all situations I do trust In Almighty who keeps me going.I thank God for sustaining my life together my family.
Its my joy to inform you that I had come for a short break which will be terminated tomorrow.
To Kenya Connect fraternity,I will always ask God to shower you His blessings and favour upon you all.May God bless you all.
Hi donors and allies,

But all in all I give thanks to God for His Grace and mercies upon my life although, it has been the toughest moments in my life during this holiday.I would like to inform you that I will be going back to school tomorrow.

I am glad that I will be joining grade 11 .I am still putting more efforts to achieve my targets bearing in mind that only losers give and determination knows no bound.I take this opportunity to thank you all for supporting me with both enriching words and funds for my school fees.May almighty God bless you abundantly .May you not want anything.

Have nice time and enjoy your moments. Byeeeeee!
Hi friends and donors,

How have you been for it has been a long time since we chatted with you.I thank God for His protection and grace upon my life.I hope that you have all been doing great.

I would like to inform you that I have come for a long holiday which will last for almost 8 weeks. During the holiday , I would like to assist my loving parents to do the home chores.Besides, I would like to study harder on my weak parts in my studies such as English ,Mathematics and business studies so as to improve my grade as I am joining grade 11 come next term.

Recently, I have been reading a Swahili storybook which has taught me never to discriminate any one because of what he/she is going through at the moment. I have also learnt that the future of a person is only known by God.I have also known that what people say or think about you can not make your future but only strengthens you to be better in the future.

I take this precious opportunity to thank the TSF fraternity for the support and concern they have given to my studies.Really , if it was not for you supporting my education it would have come to an end. May God bless you abundantly .

Nice time.Byeeeeeee!

The experience that I had early in life was to score good marks in my class, whereby I got good grades which encouraged me to study hard in class. The difficult experience that occurred in my life was an accident on my way back home. I learnt that I should not play again in bad areas. In my life I am proud of myself. I was getting low marks in class but now I have managed to improve a lot. The most memorable and happiest thing in my life is to play football. It exercises my body regularly and hence strengthens my body system. My dream is to become a mechanical engineer. The best way to reach it is through studying hard in school, in physics, mathematics and chemistry. If I had power in my country, I would change the education system of the country so that it helps graduates to depend more on self-employment.

I have experience planting vegetables because my parents do that. Also, we have a garden at our home. Therefore, that is experience I have had in life. Apart from that experience, I also had a difficult experience when I failed my geography exam. That enabled me to learn how to cooperate with other students. I was so proud of myself when I performed well in my national exam. The memorable and happiest moment in my life will be when I reach my dream of being pilot. I will be so happy. My biggest dream is to be a pilot. I will get there through studying hard in physics, geography, and mathematics. After reaching my dream, I will help my parents to modify their cultivation system and to become professional farmers. From there they can expand the area of cultivation into a large plantation. Once I get a chance to have the power to change my country, I will build many airports in each region and some districts. This will help in the flexibility of transportation in my country.

Experiences in my life are when I failed my examination during primary education and also when my parents failed to pay food for me. My difficult experiences in my life are when my parents have insufficient enough money to pay for all my basic needs at school such as food and other school contributions. The thing that makes me feel so proud of myself is when I succeeded in joining O-level education. This makes me feel that I will, I must, I can do everything. The most memorable and happiest thing in my life will be to reach my dream of being a doctor general so as I can help other people in society. My future dream is to be a GOOD surgical doctor. After me reaching my dream, I will give back help to my society and family, but also to WEF. I need to work hard upon reaching my dream in my life. Once I get chance to have power of changing anything in country, I will improve the education system by converting science subjects from theory to practical. In most of our schools, they teach science subjects mostly theoretically. I will start from there because as we know education is the key to every success in our people.
