Class Rank: 1/57 I want to become a Doctor. My Mother believes that good education will make my future life better, I agree with her. The most difficult experience in my life was after my parents separated when I was very young. I lived with my mother. At that time my mother had no money to pay my school fee, but she struggled and helped me to get in school. I learned from her example and have always tried hard to reach my goals. I hope in the future to help others reach their goals.

My life has had some challenges that affected my past school life. Due to lack of food at school and other things that I was supposed to acquire. I was not comfortable and I had to go back home. Our home situation is not good for learning. There is no electricity. We use a small solar, which has dim light. My happiest moment was being selected to go to secondary school. I and the other students were so happy. I am proud of my ability to understand what to do at school. I understand that joining bad groups will destroy my dreams. To me the aim of learning is to be an engineer. I learn through listening carefully to the teacher when in class and reading the materials. Four years from now, I will be at A-level.

Class Rank: 5/57 I want to become a pilot. I have learned a lot from the most difficult experience I had in my life when my mother left us and went to live with her mother. My sister and I were too young and not able to cook. Our life was difficult because no one cooked food. I felt very bad because I was not able to help, Father was the only one could cook, but he already so much work to do. I learned that it is difficult to live a good life if you don't have enough. I want to make sure to work hard to study and help myself, my family and others.

I am a good student from primary education Ordinary level up to this moment I reached Advanced level education. I live in a hard situation since I was young. My father is very poor. The annual income is consumed by members of the family. I faced difficulties and hard situations in all matters related to school contributions and other basic needs like computers, clothes, books, and other related academic matters. My plan from now is to complete Advanced level education and go on to university and get a degree so that I can be a professional Geologist. I have a good potential in leadership. For instance, I was discipline prefect in primary level, assistant head prefect in O level, and I expect to contest an academic position in the general election at my school in September. I have experience of making the right decision on how people can fulfill their dreams. So, I would love to have your support. I am ready and willing to make you proud by attaining good marks in my studies. Then after fulfilling my dreams, I promise to work hard in eradicating the issues of poverty and corruption. But also I will be ready to help my young sisters and brothers who will face the same problems as me now.

My name is Bertha. I live with my mother who depends on small farming. She is unemployed. The difficult experience I have had already is with financial support. I could not come to my school at the beginning of the year because of the school fees, about One Million two hundred thousand. But this challenge makes me add more effort in learning so as to perform well. From this I leant that through education I will achieve a better future. My dream is to become a teacher. Everyone in a professional job was taught by teachers. It is also a job that will make someone a good reputation in the country. I was very happy to be chosen to join Endarofta secondary school. I hope four years from now I will be in form 6.

I live with my mother and my family comprises so many people. This is a challenge to me because the resources available are shared by all. The economic situation does not support education. My family is not aware of the importance of education so they pay very little to invest on it. This challenge requires me to be courageous in my learning and I am sure that I will perform well. My dream is to be a doctor. I choose that because I want to help sick people around the world. In order to reach this dream I will study hard. My happiest moment was when I selected to join A-Level secondary school. S many were not chosen but I got this chance. Two years from now I will be in university.
