About

My father died 2015. Through his death I learnt many things in life. My life is totally changed because my mother is unable to provide our basic needs. My dream is to be a doctor so that I can save people's life. I see many people suffering while no rich people willing to give a helping hand. If I fulfill my dream and get money I will not behave like those rich people who don't care the needy. The moment I felt so proud of my self is the day I passed my Grade 7 National Examination. I thank The School Fund for Choosing me in the Scholarship program. I promise to study very hard and achieve my dream.

hello fam

so today i would like to share with you something about the book i have read, its called The Power Of Positive Thinking by Norman Vincent Peale

One of the lessons I learned from Victor E. Frankl’s classic Mans Search for Meaning is that once we find meaning, happiness is not far behind. In The Power of Positive Thinking Norman Vincent Peale points out that we can choose to be happy. However, as with creating an inflow of new thoughts that is easier said than done. One of the strategies Frankl talks about is finding meaning in every situation. There is a reason behind all of the decisions we’ll make. Therefore we need to focus on the positives. Even if the circumstances that we’re in are less than ideal. This book taught me that we ultimately have control over our outcomes.

The most impactful chapter for me was 8: I Don’t Believe in Defeat. The title alone sends a strong message. Peale first instructs the reader to eliminate defeatist thoughts. “If you are thinking thoughts of defeat, I urge you to rid yourself of such thoughts, for as you think defeat you tend to get it”. I found the message impactful. The quote is very impactful for me because It takes me back to when I played basketball. In sports, you need to have the irrational confidence that you’re going to win. LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers would not have been the first team in NBA history to come back in the NBA finals down 3–1 without believing they could. Similarly, Apple would not have beat IBM in the PC wars without internal belief.

However, there will be obstacles when achieving your goals. Obstacles are movable objects. So why do we tend to give these obstacles more weight than they should have? There has never been a challenge that we’ve faced that someone else in human history hasn't also faced. Throughout your journey, we can expect to encounter obstacles. This book has shown me how to reshape how I think about obstacles as challenges, and to look for solutions to my challenges instead of adopting the mindset of defeat.

“ The greatest discovery of my generation is that human beings can alter their lives by altering their attitudes of mind.” Altering the thoughts that flow through your mind is easier said than done. It requires awareness and mindfulness. In this chapter, Peale describes why we need to have a constant inflow of new thoughts. We’re able to think our way to failure and unhappiness. Because we’re able to think our way to failure and or success wouldn’t it be wise to choose to think about success?

Every success ever obtained started with a thought. For example, what if there was a personal computer with graphical user interfaces? Or what if there were a way where people could rent out their homes to travelers? Do these ideas sound familiar? Not only can thoughts create ideas that lead to billions of dollars in value, but they can also improve your life.
If I want to change my circumstances, I need to start by changing my thoughts. Think differently, and the results will follow. We must think of things of how they should be. Begin executing with that thought in mind, and you’ll achieve what you want. Believe and succeed.

I want to touch on creating happiness as my final thought because that is the state of mind we all aim to achieve. We can choose to be happy. If I’m ever having difficulty making that choice, I look to find meaning in what I’m doing. For example, a simple “chore” such as cleaning my apartment can be upgraded from a “chore” to an activity that creates joy in my life when I change my mindset to one of gratitude. Instead of doing a “chore,” I am honoring my living space by tidying up. I am grateful to have this clean space. When I find meaning in every day moments, my life is richer, and when I focus on the positives, I become even more powerful.

Thank you
Fahdy.
Hello everyone! i hope your all doing marvelously, because am feeling great. its just that things are very quite interesting in this side since i have been exposed to more higher education and more knowledge am gaining day by day
Today these are things am about to share with you guys i hope it might be helpfully.

When someone needs help, many of us pull out the cash. While giving money is good, there are other ways of helping. The purpose of this article is to prod you into thinking on a wider scale. Here are 10 ways you can help others as well as yourself through sharing.
1.  Experience: What do you know that could help someone else? Is someone you know just beginning to do what you’ve already done? How about sharing that knowledge?
2.  Possessions: The next time you clean out your closet or garage, don’t throw away those items you no longer use or need. Donate them to a charitable organization.
3.  Attention: If you want to help someone feel important, share your attention. Focus on what the person is saying and really listen. Most of us just want to be heard.
4.  Appreciation: Help yourself by being generous with your appreciation of what you have, where you live, what you do and with whom you do it with. You may have to look closely to find what it is you appreciate, but it’s there.
5.  Pain: Why would you share your pain? If you keep it to yourself, it will wear you down. Sharing your pain with someone you trust is the quickest way to heal and move on in life.
6.  Encouragement: Share your gift of encouragement. Years from now you may hear how your words were just what the person needed to keep on going. Dale Carnegie once said, "Abilities wither under criticism; they blossom under encouragement."
7. Time: Even though “time-saving” devices surround us, most of us have less available time than ever before. Being generous with our time is probably the most difficult, but it can be one of the most valuable assets we can share.
8.  Books: Do you have books or magazines you won't read any more? Why not donate them to a local charity or the local library and let others enjoy them as well?
9.  Smile: When you share a smile with someone else, it is often infectious. There is an anonymous quote that says it best: "A smile confuses an approaching frown."
10.  Quotes: Who doesn't love to hear a great quote every now and then? "Short sentences drawn from long experiences." Miguel de Cervantes

Experiences in my life are when I failed my examination during primary education and also when my parents failed to pay food for me. My difficult experiences in my life are when my parents have insufficient enough money to pay for all my basic needs at school such as food and other school contributions. The thing that makes me feel so proud of myself is when I succeeded in joining O-level education. This makes me feel that I will, I must, I can do everything. The most memorable and happiest thing in my life will be to reach my dream of being a doctor general so as I can help other people in society. My future dream is to be a GOOD surgical doctor. After me reaching my dream, I will give back help to my society and family, but also to WEF. I need to work hard upon reaching my dream in my life. Once I get chance to have power of changing anything in country, I will improve the education system by converting science subjects from theory to practical. In most of our schools, they teach science subjects mostly theoretically. I will start from there because as we know education is the key to every success in our people.

Notable experiences in my life are, first, passing my standard seven examination and, second, entering secondary school. My most difficult experience was when I started to learn English. I have learned that if you want to do something, you have to work hard. I felt proud was when I entered secondary school. My most memorable and happiest thoughts are from when I celebrated at my birthday party. My dream is to be an electrical engineer. I will get there through studying hard and doing well in science subjects. If I had the power to change my country, I would like to improve the electricity supply especially in rural areas because there are shortages of electric power.

The experience that I had early in life was to score good marks in my class, whereby I got good grades which encouraged me to study hard in class. The difficult experience that occurred in my life was an accident on my way back home. I learnt that I should not play again in bad areas. In my life I am proud of myself. I was getting low marks in class but now I have managed to improve a lot. The most memorable and happiest thing in my life is to play football. It exercises my body regularly and hence strengthens my body system. My dream is to become a mechanical engineer. The best way to reach it is through studying hard in school, in physics, mathematics and chemistry. If I had power in my country, I would change the education system of the country so that it helps graduates to depend more on self-employment.
