About

Meshack writes: "I live with both of my parents. We also live with my nephew who is in Form 2 at Wel Wel SS. My parents are peasants and they can't afford to pay for my school fees because they still use hand hoe agriculture which they make a small amount from, so they can't support me in my school." In 2012, Meshack was number 12 in his class of 60.

My early life was full of challenges. This forced me to start primary school when I was old, not because I wanted to but because my family was not aware of the importance of school. They did not even go to primary school. The income of my family is very low compared to others. They fail to pay for my school expenses and they depend just on a small farm that cannot sustain our school and home needs. Although there are some difficult situations I must struggle to overcome, I will pay back our society by passing examinations. This would be my happy moment.
