Oline was one of the neighborhood children who were sent to school by Child Hope International through the education program. When we heard her mother was ill, we sought medical care for her at the hospital. Unfortunately, Oline's mother died while in the hospital, leaving Oline alone. Since there were no other relatives available to care for her, she joined the girl's home. Since moving in, Oline has done remarkably well. She is a happy child with a very playful personality. Katrina is one of her best friends at the orphanage and they are inseparable. Please pray for Oline, that she would grow in her new faith and become a strong woman of God.

Bonjour Oline! c'est avec un grand sourire que je lis ton message. Je suis la prof de francais. J'ai hate de dire a mes etudiants qu'ils ont a un message de ta part. Je vais les encourager a t'ecrire encore. a la prochaine. Que Dieu te protege et te benie. Je me souviens bien de toi car j'ai visite MdL en mars 2013. Bonjour, Oline. Je m'appelle Jodi. j'habite dans le Kansas, aux Etats-Unis. Je suis prof de francais et j'ai fait ta connaissance l'annee derniere quand j'ai visite MdL. Je me souviens bien de toi car tu as participe dans une petite classe de francais avec moi. Nous avons lu une fable. Je me souviens aussi de ta copine Katrina. Nous avons chante et danse ensemble dans le Bens. J'espere que tes etudes vont bien et que le bon Dieu te benis et te protege. J'espere te revoir un jour. J'aimerais bien recevoir de tes nouvelles. I have been sewing doll clothes and the dresses for little girls like we made when I was there. Have you been sewing or making jewelry?

How are you? I hope you got the card and pictures I just sent you through my friend that was visiting. It is nice to know that I can now email you too!
I read that your school exams didn't go as well as you hoped. Are these the exams that determine your grade promotion? School was hard for me, it seemed so easy for others. I had to spend a lot of time studying to get good marks. School isn't easy but I know you will work harder. I have every confidence in you and think you will make a wonderful business woman. Write me back and let me know what else you have been doing, besides school.

It has been a good week. One of my students had to be in the hospital, but he is out and back at home now. I visited him yesterday. It was good to see him feeling much better.
I'm sorry your exams did not go well, but I think you will do better next time! I will keep you in my prayers.
