About

Denuite has a twin brother and is one of eight blood related children. At a young age, Denuite's mother died and her father, a poor farmer in northern Haiti, tried to take care of the kids. As survival became difficult, Denuite, her new stepmother, and three brothers came to the city to see if they could raise enough money to feed the family. Her stepmother was able to start selling cookies on the street, but was robbed a number of times by street thugs. Denuite would beg, but often got injured and harassed by other street kids and could not earn much. Denuite finally feels safe and secure with us at her new home. She has a funny sense of humor and has been nicknamed Ti-Comic (little comedian) by the other kids at the home. Denuite loves praying and studying God's word. Her smile is bright and she beams with confidence in the Lord. Please pray for Denuite, that she would grow in her faith to become a committed woman of God.

We're so happy to help with your education, have a great year!
Denuite, you have come a long way, keep up the good work! Me and my family are thinking of you and wish you the best in school and your endeavors.
Hi Denuite! So glad to meet you. Hope your year is a big success. Stay in there and I'll have you in my thoughts and prayers.
Joyeuse anniversaire, Denuite !

Hello Denuite, my name is Victoria. I clicked on your picture because of your beautiful smile! I know life is difficult for all children in Haiti, but I am guessing it's even harder for young girls. That's why I wanted to learn more about your life. Once I did, I felt a connection to you because I have a son going into the 9th grade also! I also love that you are "Ti Comedian"! Laughter is so important and can ease pain and help others to forget theirs, even if for just a little while. I want you to keep your joyful spirit and have all the opportunities to achieve your goal of becoming a baker. Now a little about me.... I am married and have a son named Caleb. I work for a local school district as a speech language pathologist. I love working with children, I have gone on one mission trip to Colombia to assist opening up a group home for girls living in the streets. . It was truly a humbling experience. I've wanted to go to Haiti since meeting the Manassero's at church but have not been able to. I love to read, listen to music, spend time with my family, and am currently trying to get into better shape!! I would love to hear about what you are learning in school, what books you have read, what you enjoy doing with your free time, all about your family, and anything else you would like to share. I don't have any photos downloaded that I can send at this time. When I do, I will send you one. I am truly blessed to be able to help you further your education! I wish you the best! May God bless you, Victoria Tedder
