Jacob lost his mother when he was three years old. He was taken care of by his elder sister, who married thereafter and left him with his ailing father. Shortly after, his father died in 2011 and he now lives with his brother who works as a peasant. He loves to read all kinds of books and hopes to become a surgeon someday.

I am called Jacob and take my studies in Highway Academy High School. I started learning from this school since I was a kid in baby class. I am proud of learning in Highway, till now I am in form four having aged 18 years. This is the year that will determine my life so I put in more efforts in my studies. I would like to join Kenyatta University after form four and take mechanical engineering as my coarse of choice. I will therefore like to be an engineer.

I like reading novels and storybooks during my free time. What I hate most is being frustrated with my friends but forgive each other and life goes one. The most frustration I get is when I fail my examination. But this only reminds me that I have to work harder.

I have most friends in school and others are my village friends. We spend our time in discussion groups about our studies. I love them all for they keep me happy all day. Some people that I am always close to them are my teachers. They help me so much in my studies. I am proud of them for every process in school. Above all, I thank the wema the wema community for stepping in to support our studies. We get much experience from the computer and projectors. The balls we use them in the field for playing. The books in the library have also helped us a lot.
This is my last year course in high school .I am very happy and thanking to Wema Community for having supported my education since form one.

My future was almost diminishing but the Wema project t has shade light on it. Through the efforts of Wema Community, I have a lot of experience in my academics. It has helped me to interact well with people around and at large.

The effect of Wema has helped me to secure my dream of furthering my education after high school .It has encouraged me to have hope and dream of becoming a financial leader who will one day push for the interests of poor members in the society.
I’m very proud of Wema Community and thank it so much for its great educative programs. Thanks to Wema.

    Enoch comes from a humble family of two and he is the first born child. His parents are unemployed and depend on casual jobs to sustain their family and thus unable to raise his secondary school fees. Despite staying home for most of the time throughout his primary education due to lack of school levies, his dream to become a mechanical engineer has kept her focused. Enoch has seen a number of people in his area struggle too much when their machines and engines break down and there is no one to help repair them. He would also like to help the needy and poor families support their children in becoming better persons in the future. His hobbies are drawing and taking photographs.
