About

I have an older brother and a young one. My father is a tailor, my mother is a housewife. When my grandfather died, life became difficult. My parents had problem paying schools fees, as a result I had been missing some of my studies. I am a hardworking girl particularly in studies. I want to be a lawyer. I know the road is hard but I have always told myself that with determination I can achieve. When I saw my form 4 national exam results were good, I knew my hard work had paid off. The day I saw my name among the few chosen for advanced education, that was the happiest moment in my life. Two years from now I want to be in university so I can fulfill my lifelong dream. I always say you may not be perfect but you are good enough for something.

Hi everyone,
Hope that all of you are doing great, back to me am okay thankfully and am glad am done with my mock examination they were so hard but am glad I did them well enough and am expecting to do well with Gods grace, am expecting to go home soon and am so excited to meet my family and friends once again.
At school luckly I am among few girls who have been chosen to enroll a club called KISA which works under AFRICAID it deals girls rights to themselves and the society but also we are taught of how a girl is important in the community as much as a man is.
Am enjoying so much and am learning a lot,one of the things I have learned is "being a girl is much more than merely getting married and being a mother,we have so much potential of which the world needs". We had a competition of which everyone was to talk about one of the main issues facing the youth of Tanzania and how to help them, I was the second winner with my topic of "idle youth" I was so happy when I was told I won but more happier knowing I helped doing something in my community. Well I hope to hear from you all soon and God bless you all with a lovely week.

Nohemi is from the small rural community Socma in the Sacred Valley Region of Peru. Growing up it was difficult for her family to meet their basic needs. This made it challenging for her to prioritize her studies; nevertheless, she was persistent and found the support she needed for secondary education through scholarship programs. "La alegria y las ganas son los que guian nuestro camino para el exito. "Happiness and motivation guide our path to success." In the future, she would like to use her knowledge and experience in order to help develop a sustainable tourism program for Socma. She is very proud of her beautiful community and hopes to share her culture with others in a way that allows for responsible social development.
