My past year of study has been great I have encountered challenges but life has taught to be resilient and stay committed to the course. My grades have been on an upward trajectory and I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I would like to be a chef in future coz am good at cooking and would like to pursue something I have a passion in. I learnt how to cook from my Mother back in Primary School and I can now cook a pretty decent meal. Aside from this, I like reading and playing football(Soccer).

I future I hope to proceed to university and take on my further studies. Am amazed by the impact Wema has had in my life and in the lives of many of my friends. The School Director is my role model, who could ever imagine the sacrifice of one person could change the lives of many families. My biggest thank you goes out to you out there, the guardian angel I’ve never met who has afforded me a shot at good education.

Thank You.

Emmaculate is the last born in a family of three; one sister and one brother. Her parents rely on subsistence farming for livelihood, which has been greatly affected by the changing climate. While in primary school, Emmaculate spent most of the time at home while the other students were at school. This was because of lack of finances to cater for some of the requirements at school. This did not stop her but instead propelled her towards achieving her dream of becoming a cardiologist in order to save lives. Her role model is Barack Obama and she likes his phrase of ‘Yes we can’. Moreover, she likes reading story books during her free time.
