About

There are seven children in our family and I'm the last born. My father is a watchman and my mother is a small scale peasant. My parents do not have enough income to pay for my school fees. I believe that education will make me reach my dream of becoming a doctor and help my family and other people around me.

Dear Students,

I love to collect wisdom from different sources that are meaningful to me.
Below are a few of my favorites that I would like to share with you:

1) When you master your emotions, you master your life
Anger. This is one emotion that is sure to pop up sometime during the day. How you deal with your anger says a lot about who you are as a person. How well do you manage your emotions? Do you have a harsh reaction if someone says something insulting to you? Anger can be a destructive emotion if not managed properly.

2) Respect other people’s opinions even when they differ from your own.

Conflict. It’s rare that two people agree on most topics. Conflict is everywhere. It happens at work, home, with family and friends. Disagreeing isn’t the problem (although most people think it is). The problem is not giving value to the opinions of others.

3) Experience The Joy Of Learning

Each time you learn something new you gain more knowledge and with more knowledge come more confidence. Learning helps us become more adaptable and flexible to new situations. Learning encourages us to be more creative and innovative in our thinking and we are therefore more comfortable with the unknown.
Reading books is a great way for us to learn. To fully embrace the joy of learning, never stop reading and searching for more knowledge.

4) Touch someone’s soul with your kindness

Random Acts of Kindness. It’s the little things in life that matter most. Hold a door, smile at people. Kindness does not cost much and it touches the soul of another person.

5) Speech is a powerful tool.

Your words. Watch your words carefully. They can be daggers or building blocks. You can crush the spirit of someone or make them feel like they can conquer the world. Taste your words before you spit them out. Words are your thoughts coming to life. It’s your choice.
What are your favorite quotes and wisdom to live by? I’d love to hear your thought on that.

Cheers,
Jonathan Gilbert
Hello Madam Judy,
It is a precious day for me to say hello to you madam Judy because of your greatest heart that you still showing us.
I like to give all of my thanks to you madam for your help to me because now I have completed my O-level education and due to that you helped me much when I was at school because you paid my school fees, school supplies and even food you made sure that we must get.
Madam I don't have much to say rather than saying thank you for every thing that you gave us while we were at school.
Our exams have already completed and now we are still staying at home waiting for our exam results which when comes we can have an accessibility to join A-level education again.
I need to promise you that my results will be good and I know you will enjoy to hear and see them hence I believe to score good on each subject.
And I will study very hard when I get a chance to go at advance level through taking science subjects for PCB combination. Due to that my dreams of becoming a doctor I know they will reach for all of my efforts and even your support to me.
Wishing you a long life and may GOD protect you.
Yours,
Lucy N.

    Matata

    Kenya

Matata is a daring young boy who believes that success is often achieved by those who don’t know that failure is inevitable. He is the last born in a family of four. His parents are unemployed and largely depend on subsistence farming, which has been negatively affected by frequent severe droughts. Most of the rural roads in his village are very impassable and this has pushed him towards achieving his dream of becoming an engineer. Since Matata was a young boy, he has always liked playing football not only at home but also in school and he was the goalkeeper for his school team.
