About

Theodora is an orphan. Her parents both died a few of years ago. Theodora is the fifth of six children. She and her siblings live with their aunt who has three children of her own and cannot afford to support the ten children who live with her now. Life has not been easy for Theodora since the death of her parents. Sometimes, she has gone without basic necessities like food during school. Theodora had to walk long distance to attend school because she could not afford the costs of transportation. Theodora is determined to succeed in at schools, become employed, and contribute towards her own community's development by helping disadvantaged children access basic and higher education. She is one of many intelligent students who would have lost hope of going to secondary school without the help of the School Fund funders. Theodora says, "to me education is the key of life, and I would urge all students to study hard and pass their exams."

Hey, hope your dream will come true!
Hi Christi,
Hope you’re doing well. I thank God because I’m ok. Right Now I’m in holyday and we are going to open school July 15th. On June 16th, I was so happy because we were celebrating the day of African’s child. We as a Tafare’s children we prepared a lot of things such as drum dance, and other enjoyable things. And also we used to walk on the street so as to educate the parents about the important of taking their children to school and the need to assist street children.
Our motto on the walk was that, if each family with enough income could help only one child, our society will have no street children.
It was wonderful, enjoyable day for me.
Yours
Theodora
