About

Manuel is the second of five children. He lives with his mother, as his father has abandoned them. Manual couldn't go to school for two years because his mother couldn't afford it, so he is particularly happy to have the support of the Condor Trust and to be making up for lost time. He is a very responsible boy. His passion is playing the guitar. According to his mother he spends every moment he can practicing. His great dream at the moment is to go to Loja at Christmas. This is a town in the south of Ecuador where his grandparents live, and Manuel wants to play them some songs on his guitar.

Hi Daniel. Thank you for your message. Good luck to you too!

I'm 18 years old now and I still have two years of school to complete. Because of my age, I can't be in the normal school system, so I've started in a different school with a different system. The teachers are helping me a lot and I'm managing my time well. I hope I can complete the final two years without problems and then continue studying so I can get a professional qualification.
Hi Manuel...
Feel encouraged and work hard . Nice time...

I live with my mother. My father passed away when I completed standard seven. I want to be an engineer. I give effort and attention so that I can perform well on my exams. My dream is to be a mechanical engineer but due to my poor family background I was afraid that I could not make it. But with the aid of TSF I believe that I will be able to fulfill it. I was happy and excited when I was selected for A-levels because of my national examination results. My family feels proud to have a daughter like me.

I am a form 5 student. Before reaching A-level education, I faced difficult moments especially in school matters. It was hard for my parents to pay my school fees and other expenses. They had to depend on other relatives but they could not provide anything essential to my studies. I reached a time when gave hope but my parents encouraged me a lot. I made more effort and succeeded in joining form 5 at Lugalo Secondary School. If I can become a surgeon, it will help me to have good life and help my family and other people who face health problems but cannot afford payment for treatments. I hope to get there by making more effort in my studies. The moment that I felt proud of myself was in 2016, when I become the overall winner of essay competition in the Dar-es-Salaam region and was given lots of gifts. The happiest moment in my life was when the School Fund chose to sponsor me. I am really happy this moment because I am seeing the light of achieving my goals. Two years from now, I want to have completed my form 6 national examination and be at Muhimbili University or another big university taking the courses I need. I am thankful for this chance. I promise to help others because you helped me to meet my dreams.
