About

Class Rank: 4/301 My happiest moment in my life is when my mother is happy and all my family members are together. I dream to become an engineer when I grow up ,so my family can live a better life. I am going to get there by studying hard and achieving high scores in my exams. The most difficult experience I had was the time when my mother was not able to make enough money to support her family. From that I learnt that our life is hard, I must do my best to reach my dream job so I can help my dear mother. Someday I will be proud of myself when I improve my mother's life. After I become an engineer I will fund other children's school fees. I will make sure that all the children can get education and have good future even though their family are poor.

Hi School Fund Students

Sorry it took me a while to write to you. For those of you who is receiving my journal the first time, let me introduce myself.

My name is Indy. I am currently living at the same town as Ms Judy. She and I went to high school together. I am so happy to have this opportunity to get to know you.

I used to work with computers for many many years. Do you like to use computers?

Yesterday I met with some of my old school friends for lunch. These are the friends I have for almost 50 years. We talked about our school days when we were 12 years old.
It brought many happy memories.

Do you enjoy your school? Now is the time to form good friendship with your classmates? What do you do with your classmates? Do you study together? Do you talk and share secrets? I know you have a lot of study to do. Hopefully you can find some time to do some fun stuff with your friends.

Please write back to let me know what interests you.

Until next time,
your friend,
Indy
Hello madam Judy, it has been a while since I wrote to you a Journal or an email and for that i am really sorry since it makes you loose hope that we do not care about you and the scholarship that you offer us from form two up to this moment but that is not the reason at all.

The scholarship fr TSF has helped me very much in my life of school and home as well as helping me finishing my O-level studies safely without any hardship and for that i have been able to pass my exams with Division 2.7 and this will be much disappointing to you because what i promised is to perform higher than what i did although the grades will favour me going to advanced level but it wasn't what i planned to achieve .

From the time i finished my O-level studies in November 2018 up to now i have been doing a lot of stuffs like business and also studying other things that have impact in my future and career while waiting for the A-level posts to come out, but during the period there are a lot of other ideas that are more helpful in making my dreams come true occurring which i will share them in more details if my request to you will be accepted, because the opportunities i have met they may make my future and dreams come true as you want and have in mind for us to have a better future.

Since way back i have been writing in my journals and also i have been dreaming of becoming an engineer in my future. The engineer i want to be is mainly being a computer engineer and basing on the Networking department, and during the time waiting for the A-level posts to come out i decided to begin the Networking course provided BY CISCO NETWORKING ACADEMY from san Francisco but have their branch here in Tanzania at RUCU university where i take that course which by the end of this year I will be completing the first course namely IT ESSENTIALS which began in January 2018. Therefore this course is known in providing Technical skills basing on Professional in Technology which is growing day after day therefore it has a great impact if i take the course which is related to my dream career and also brings the outcome in a better way other than the academic education in our syllabus which doesn't change according to the present time and activities around the world in general this course will make me more competent since we learn by doing Practicals and most of the times in field which is much different from the education provided in the Tanzanian syllabus aiming at much theory and less practicals.

Now for the above explanation and brief idea that i have i would not like to be going against the plans and conditions of TSF but the truth is that i want to take the advanced course while still in the school fund(TSF) program and by that i think its best if i talk in more details with Mr.Amos and you Madam Judy if it is still possible to still fund me although i wont go in A-level.

I wish to hear from you soon , and i hope my request will be much concerned as how i explained above .
Yours Henry Lyimo
