Thank you everyone for sponsoring my high school education on the TSF.

The year started well, we were working hard to finish our syllabus so that we embark on revision. However, towards the end of term1 we were forced to go back home due to the outbreak of Covid 19. The school organized for an online learning during the long break but unfortunately I was not able to access it due to lack of facilities.

I was happy after the government announced school reopening for candidates. The school management together with our teachers are working hard so that we go through with the syllabus and embark on revision. I promise to achieve the best results and wish to thank all that are giving us a conducive environment for our learning.

Best wishes.
My name is Wabwile Lawrence, I am a student at Highway Academy. My life before coming to Wema was horrible cumbered by school fees problems, Family problems and many more, however, I got a scholarship from WEMA and all this took a U-turn. I would like thank all that are involved in Wema and the management of Highway Academy.

I like reading novels in our School library like, ’’The Blood Red Road’’ which teaches about moral lessons and how one should leave against each other. The subjects that I love most are Mathematics, History and Christian Religious Education because I wish to be a lawyer in future.

I also thank the school management for providing me with a conducive environment for me to pursue my dreams.

I have all the reading materials I need to pass my exams and I promise to do exactly that.

Thank You

Fiona is the last born in a family of three. She lives with both her parents who are casual labourers. Her mother had a major surgery on her left hand in 2020. This made them sell part of their property to take care of the medical bills and thus reducing their income significantly and again making it very difficult for them to take care of the education bills of their children. Fiona drew her inspiration to pursue success from her Math teacher and she aspires to be a civil engineer to make contributions in the development of infrastructure in her village.
