About

In the year 2012, Brigid's family was attacked by robbers who beat her dad to death as he tried to protect them. Her dad died when she was 10 years old leaving her mother to take care of the family. Her mother is a small scale cash crop farmer and also grows some food crops for the family to eat all in her 2 acre farm. Brigid has 3 brothers, all younger and 5 sisters, 3 older and the rest younger. In primary school, Bridig was regularly sent home for the small fees that her mum could not get in time. She is really glad that she no longer has to go home for lack of school fees and is always in class learning with the rest of the students. " I highly appreciate Wema's role in my life. God bless you abundantly."

Hi

I was so scared when I heard of covid 19. I stayed home for 7 months and went back to school in October. Since then I have worked hard and am looking forward to passing my exams highly.

Brigid
It feels so good to be part of the Wema community, all thanks to the Almighty God and the management of this facility, am greatly humbled by this opportunity.

With the help I get at Wema centre, including good teachers, well equipped library, Science and Computer laboratory, am working hard to improve on my grades so that I stand a good chance of pursuing my dream career of training as a doctor. To achieve this is not a walk in the park, I therefore have developed a reading culture which makes me frequent the library and seek consultation from teachers. By so doing, am hopeful that my dreams will come true.

A part from academics, the school has also provided me with an opportunity to play leg ball, my favorite sport. Having enough balls and a pitch, I get to relax after studies by playing.

I once more would like to express my special thanks for such a great opportunity, may God bless all the stakeholders and the entire Wema community.
